This is surely one of the best item I bought for crafting my wedding invitations myself. Allowed me to cut all pieces of paper straight once I understood how it works (had never used one before). The cut quality is great. I chose to do pieces of paper one by one, or two by two, just to make sure it looked really nice. Overall this saved me an insane amount of time and money and I am so pleased I bought it. Can't recommend enough if you're into paper crafts.

An OK paper cutter It does the job but every now and again it will tear the paper without warning Not sure if it is down to pressure on the blade or with it being one sheet of paper As for the accuracy of cut it does seem to wander off course slightly even with the paper up to the end stops For the price it will do for my purpose but if you need accuracy I would invest my money in something else Shame as it is packaged and presented very well and is easy to use My opinion so far is based on cutting single sheets of copier paper 80 GSM which I think would cause some minor feathering to the edge of the cut It mentions about being able to replace the cutting blade which may be an option to look at investing in possibly a better quality blade.

Sharpness, Use, Accuracy, Storage capacity, Functionality, Stickiness, good for cutting cardboard and card blade is very nice and sharp has got an extra paper guide that is folded in the cutter easy to use place the paper or card under the cutter guide and position it to the height of the desired amount of paper or card you want to cut off and press down on the orange cutting blade and pull it down across the sheet of paper or card to cut it best to place the cutter on a hard surface like a table top(please note that you don't need to press down to hard for the cutter to cut the paper or card) making sure you place the paper or card up against the side of the guillotine, you only get one cutting blade with this guillotine please supervise children of the use of the guillotine as the cutter blade is very sharp very nice and easy to store lightweight and has got rubber feet to stop it from moving about good price on Amazon recommend children of the age of 7 years old and up to use the guillotine.

good quality, light weight item

The blade on this cutter is not the usual rotary kind (like a glass cutter) but is a sharpened spear point which only emerges if you press down on the sliding carriage. This you have to press downwards and slide it simultaneously. It really struggles to cut through 271gsm photo paper and also trends to scrape off some of the surface layer as you cut. It is ok with ordinary printer paper though. It does cut straight though which is one good thing and in many respects it is well designed apart from the cutting blade. I would not buy this type again.

This cutter worked great. It's very sharp, so there's no shredding when cutting photos or card stock. It is very safe and secure. The blade guide lifts up to place the paper exactly where you want it. When it comes down over top, it keeps the paper secure. The swing out ruler works perfectly for accurate measuring.
