BolAAzuL Component AV Video Switch Box 3 in 1 Out RGB Component AV Switcher

Works great. Completely plug and play like you would expect. Picture quality is great with no added interference. Good value for money, these things can be quite expensive now that they’re largely out of demand for the average person. Use it for retro gaming/computing and it’s great for that.

Perfect for what I needed, which was to connect 3 separate old school gaming systems to a tv and allow to switch to each platform. It works perfectly

A simple, well-constructed device with button operation. It is light, with a thin metal casing that protects the internal board well enough. Connectors were firm and snug. The device is entirely analog, with no power supply. Switching between signals is a manual task, since it is not powered. No signal noise issues.

I was expecting the product to completely cut off each input signal if a different input signal has been selected. However, this is not the case. The “Y” signal for port 1 is shorted to the output “Y” signal. If the device connected to port 1 is on at the same time as the devices on either ports 2 or 3 are on (and either port 2 or port 3 are selected to be displayed / output), the signals will mix and the display will be distorted. As long as only one (1) input device / signal is powered on at a time, this device operates and performs as expected.

This works and doesn't cause any interference. Wish they made one to accommodate 6 to 8 consoles vs the 3.

Great component switcher. Three inputs and one output. Selecting each input is quick and easy. Clicking all three inputs at once, let the switcher automatically send signal. Solid built.

My switch box worked just fine. I don't see any problems with the video and the audio sounds fine. Nice that it doesn't require power!

Initially I was stoked to have my 3 consoles with quality component cables hooked up at once, but it turns out the audio output in the right red port is defective. Audio is fine on the other one, but I only get a loud buzz with the right red output. Bummer. Edit: (2/16/24) So after further testing it seems there’s some kind of conflict between the green port of input 1 and the right red audio output port. If I don’t use input one, particularly that green port, then input 2 and 3 will work okay with full stereo sound. Kind of a relief as I can at least use it this way until a replacement arrives. For what it’s worth quality from my Retrovision HD cables on my SNES and Genesis isn’t lost through this switch. So I assume that if you don’t get a lemon like me, this is a great switch! I know my Wii cables work as I’ve connected directly before, and the same issue with input 1 happens when I tried it with an entirely different console, but until I get a replacement I’ll have to just use it as a two way switch Lol. Oh well.

Works perfectly. Did not notice any signal degradation. It is a bit on the light side though so in my setup I had to tape it down with double-sided tape so the cabling wouldn't lift it in the air but that's not really a big deal to me.

Component video is the high quality alternative to composite video and as good as Scart, though slightly less common. You might find it on older equipment. My TV has only one component input, as is the norm. But I have a DVD player and two games consoles with high quality component outputs. This switch box makes switching between the three a breeze. Everything is clearly marked and the action of the buttons is positive. Very pleased with my purchase.
