ChezMax Natural Coconut Bowl with Mother of Pearl Inlays - Key Bowl & Fruit Snack Holder (Blue-Gold)

Although I ordered "Feather Blue", the item received appears to be green instead. All the same, I was originally torn between the choice of green or blue, so I have no concern with keeping the green. The item arrived in perfect condition, but without a lot of packaging to protect it - I would imagine that someone could have easily damaged it if they had not been careful when handling it prior to arrival. The bowl was exactly as I had envisioned it, except for the exact color. The size is just as I expected and just what I needed. It is evidently made of natural coconut shell, cleaned, cut, and polished. The inside coating seems to be almost like glass or ceramic to the touch and it is as beautiful as the pictures show it to be - I can believe that there is artistry and skill involved in the making of it. It has a small flat spot on the bottom that keeps it somewhat stable for content that is not overly heavy or tall. It will work well on my dresser to keep coins and pocket contents, although I could see it used at a home entry for keys or on a bedside for jewelry. I can't speak to the durability of it since I haven't had it long, but I think there could be many uses for this as long as it stays dry and doesn't need a lot of cleaning. It seems versatile and you could let imagination be your guide. Given the price of this item, I'm amazed at the quality and beauty of it and would have expected this to be at least twice the price. It is a great value, so don't delay in buying it because it seems to be underpriced.

Love, love, love this bowl. I was looking for a candy dish for my husband's desk at work and wanted something a little more masculine than cut glass. The mother of pearl inlay is gorgeous and a beautiful contrast to the rustic coconut exterior. The outside has been smoothed with no rough edges. It is a little smaller than expected, but perfect size for its intended use. He was very pleased with it. I will keep this in mind for gifting in the future.

The bowl is pretty, but I didn’t realize it would be so small — I expected it to be from a bigger coconut. The bottom isn’t flat, so it tilts and can spill when someone takes candy out. It doesn’t work well as a candy dish, and I’m not sure what this size would be best for.

Beautiful bowl! Outside is very organic and natural but the inside...wow talk about color pop!

It is beautiful! However, it arrived cracked. I have bought a total of 3. This was in a box of items & although it had bubble wrap, it should have been protected better. Now I have to go through the return process to get another one.

This is not how it is advertised at all! When you receive it, it looks like a cheap plastic bowl that you would receive from a discount store that has some paint splashed in it. When I called to return it, I was told they have gotten a lot of of these same complaints. I’m surprised it’s even allowed to be advertised as is. Do not waste your money.

Yes it’s not a big bowl, don’t expect to be able to keep your fruit in this bowl - it is a coconut shell after all, having said that, it is a very beautiful bowl, great for keeping all kinds of little things. I bought it as a gift for a friend and she loves it

Cute bowl. I use it on the couch side table for little stuff like nail clippers, magnifying glass, pens.
