Initially worked well, but the photocell died after very short use.

I placed this inline for my outdoor LED strip light. I do not have to remember turning this off during the day and on during the night. It worked well and looked to have durable materials. I will buy this again.

Easy to install per instructions. Black to Load Terminal of Transformer, Red to the Load (lights) and White to both the Transformer Common and Load (lights) Common. One note, the photocell is rated at 10 Amps. So if your Transformer Output is 12 Volts your maximum Load is 120 Watts. P=I V Where P=Power, I=Amps and V=Volts.

This photocell switch works well, but has pretty short wires that required extensions. The switch need to be in a certain location, but the power source was buried, so it took quite a bit of extra wire to reach. The switch takes a few seconds to turn on once it turns dark out, but instantly turns off with any light. This should save some electricity, but it will be interesting to see how this works practically on my step lights

I got this Photo sensor I ordered 12vdc for my solar security lights. The box showed marked 12 dc but the item after I installed it and checked it did not work so as I looked at it I noticed it is for 12V ac only (first picture). I looked at some other ones I bought before and it has ac/dc 12v (second picture). So the markings on the box are not correct so now I have to return It and put my project on hold while I wait for another one from someone else. The 2 items in the box are for AC only. check it before you use it.

I've read a number of reviews on here saying it doesn't work with DC. It absolutely does. You just have to connect to the correct wires. Positive goes to the black wire, and negative goes to the white wire. Red is the output. I'm using this to operate some yard lights off of a solar panel battery system and it works great! Would highly recommend these for any 12v project where dusk to dawn operation is desired. My Solar Battery puts out about 12.6 to 12.8 volts at night, 13.8 volts during sunlight hours and have had no issues, so I'll say there is some voltage tolerance in the units.

I saved quite a bit of money using a 12 volt transformer/ power supply for my landscaping lights around the house. Then I got to thinking about my RV and how nice it would be to come back to the resort and have it lit WITH UNDER lights and an awning light. In both cases it was a great price they do a great job and it was money well spent and saved. I USED THE SWITCH OFF THE POWER TRAILER JACK AND MOUNTED A LED OFF-ROAD LIGHT UNDER THE STEPS

Dusk to dawn the switch is off to a great start. It’s part of a 12V system at my chicken coop responsible for turning lights on and off. The wiring is straight forward and the pigtails were sufficiently long. The switch is mounted outside on the back of the coop so time will tell how well it holds up in the weather.

Nice and tidy, works as described

These work great and are well made. I ordered these for my garage street sign which is LED lights. When I went to install the unit it is large and no way would it fit inside the fixture housing but it is built to be outside in the weather. Also upon reading the wiring diagram they are not listed for LED lighting but operate just fine

Works, installed in car to dim radio at night. Doesn't get triggered by headlights or streetlights. Delay is a little slower than I would like but it is nothing to really complain about. It is abit bigger than I expected, but for the price it works

Easy to hook up. Works fine - as advertised. Could be smaller. Too bad it is not waterproof.

Used them on my greenhouse for the outside lights. Work great.
