This will add a little more pep and economy to your vehicle. Also gives a deeper sound when full acceleration is applied. Would advise an performance exhaust system to go with for the full effect.

It’s a great air intake. Install should be easy but the intake I received had an issue with the mounting plate for the air flow sensor. The holes do not like up at all. About an 1/8 inch off from where it needs to be. So I had to drill out the plate to make it fit. Also the set screw in the intake pipe came out when tightening screw. I am good with tools and would recommend buying directly from k and n or from a reliable website. Feel like I got a junk one that had been returned. Nonetheless it works great after about an extra hour of fabrication.

GOOD QUALITY EASY TO INSTALL IM VERY HAPPY WITH AIR INTAKE

I should have read the 1 star reviews closely and ANYONE looking at this should pay close attention. If you order it check the parts closely. We bought this only looking at the average reviews which are really high. We took the old air system out and started installing the new K & N one. Then we noticed we did NOT have a major part for the install. It was Friday about noon. We called K & N Support and they said "OH SORRY! We will express overnight one out to you...you could receive it Saturday or Sunday if FedEx delivers on Sunday" I thought COOL...they are doing everything they can. On Monday I hadn't received it or heard anything so I called...it turned out they hadn't done anything until Monday afternoon...they said "SORRY, but it is coming via overnight express so you will get it Tuesday". I was NOT happy but what could I do? I did NOT receive it on Tuesday so I called Wednesday morning and it was still sitting at K & N in Texas. Long story a little shorter it finally shipped Wednesday and I received it Thursday. THEN...I installed it and the truck wouldn't run right...NO where in instructions do they tell you how to install the MAF Sensor...it matters! ...As several other 1 Star ratings have noted! I turned the sensor over 180 degrees and the system now seems to work as designed.

I like the sound and the air flow that it gives my 2014 5.3 liter really like this product I’ve always used k&n the best out there

It was a $200 product, which is a good price for its value and performance. After starting the engine, I thought it was a normal sound, but it turns out that it has another sound when driving the vehicle, you hear the sound of the 8 cylinder engine which is similar to the engines of the nineties with a beautiful tone of what makes driving a vehicle enjoyable. I had no difficulty in installing it, everything is explained in the manual and I recommend buying a membrane from the same company that protects the filter head from dust and water.
