Refurbished, looked as new to me!
Don’t fret in buying something refurbished. “Infant death of new products become the thing of the past as “burn in” has already occurred. I would have never known it was previously used if not alerted to the fact. This approach represents a savings, plus the practicality of not having to suffer early failure of consumer electronics. By the way, the blink system works wonderfully well. I have been extremely surprised that these stand-alone cameras are powered by non-rechargeable lithium batteries that last a long time in operation. Incredibly convenient not to have to plug them into the power mains.

Love them
I’ve purchased two. I really love them, only thing is night time vision is not the greatest but if I leave my porch light on it will do a fair job of letting me see! Overall really happy.

cool camera
i added this cam so no one could get away with stealing packages off my porch.it was a little hard to add to an existing system, but after an hour or so i got it.i love the blink line.the only problem is that it didnt come with a charging block. THATS a bummer and thats why you only got 4 stars.

Seamless
I have used Wyze cameras in the past. They often disconnected from the internet, sometimes requiring a repeat set up. Eventually Wyze forced you to get a subscription in order to continue using (found this out after an irreversible update). Enough about Wyze! Shortly after installing the Wyze indoor camera I decided to use a Blink outdoor camera for my front door. Over a period of about 2 years I had excellent service and am unable to recall a problem during that period of time. When the Wyze became unusable it was an easy decision to go with the Blink Mini. Both cameras installed without a hitch and work within that same app as the outdoor camera with essentially the same features. You are forced to sign up for a 30 day free trial which might forfeit the unlimited storage that came with my outdoor Blink. That would be disappointing but Blink advertises that storage can be accomplished with a USB stick so I’m hopeful that indeed is the case and works as well as the cameras. The refurbished units seem to be new and covered under warranty so I think quite a bargain.

Clear picture and reasonable cost!
I really like the Blink Mini camera as they are compact and easy to configure. The picture is clear and the night vision is ample for indoor monitoring. I don't use the motion sense much but did test it out and it seemed to work well. The recording is also good but you will have to subscribe to the cloud storage service. I did like the "refurbished" price point as it is definitely value for money!

Cameras work well, App handicaps functionality when using local storage
The Blink cameras are all very well designed, easy to install and work well. If I had a criticism of the cameras it would be that they are slow to begin recording once they detect motion.Where Blink disappoints is when you use the sync module and switch to local storage. The design of the app disables much of the functionality unless you subscribe to their cloud services. For example blink will send you notifications but take you to the cameras live view rather than the saved clip. It works the other way is you have their cloud service by taking you to the clip it just saved. Additionally the app will not show you how many new clips you have. Switching to local storage also disables any ability filter and bulk delete you clips. See the chart I attached for a list of some of the features you loose by going to local storage. It would have been easy for them to design the same types of functionality into the app whether it was local storage or their cloud service. Perhaps they do this just to sell their service? In short if your going to purchase could storage then the Blink system may work great for you but if your looking to avoid paying for a subscription other options might be better.
