Smashing! I love it! It looks good in the pictures; it looks good on me. I washed it immediately; it seems colorfast. If you want it to look crisp, you will need to iron it lightly. The sewing and construction are quality. It is obvious in the pictures, and that's why I missed it, but the pockets are not patches. They are a separate construction; a conjoined pair of welt pockets, that are very nicely made. Both the neck strap and the ties are a generous inch wide, making it comfortable on my neck. I can't tie it in front, but that's because I'm too large and not because the ties are too short. YMMV! I can't assess the fit for the ladies, but it covers my six-foot frame and 38-inch waist just fine. I also purchased a solid black apron from a competitor for the same price. (The M d' H was on sale.) The other brand had simple patch pockets and narrower straps and ties. Although the sewing and construction are on a par, the Maison d' Hermine is a clearly superior effort at producing an apron that owner will be proud to wear and to host in. They also come in such a wide variety of print designs, that it is quite possible to find one that makes a personal statement for you as well. Even at full retail, the Maison d' Hermine will be my future choice for a cotton apron. P.S. They sell matching kitchen linens for at least some of the patterns, so that it would be possible to obtain the material to add additional matching patch pockets to the apron if you are so inclined.

I hadn't treated myself to a new apron for years and decided to buy this in the cute Christmas print. I'm impressed with the quality and will probably buy another in the future. I love that it is large enough to provide full coverage to my knees and around the sides, with ties long enough to wrap around the front. The fabric is nice and sturdy, the print is crisp and colorful. I haven't washed it yet. I wear aprons for housework as well as cooking and look forward to wearing this cheerful one throughout the holidays for years to come.

The quality of this apron is supreme. It is very well made and my friend was very happy to receive it for Christmas thia year. I liked it so much that I ordered another one in a different pattern for myself. I also got it on sale, which made it so worth the price paid. The material looks like it will wash very well. It covers the front of the body quite well and you can adjust the neck for height. The chicken artwork is so cute.

Very nice fabric, on the heavy side, seems to fit well. Quality is nice. I looked at many aprons and so many of them were flimsy and just plain ugly. This one is a winner in my book.

This is my second apron like this. I love the quality - thick material, internal pockets that hold items without sagging, easy to use ties/straps long enough to wrap around front to tie, and also pretty! Tip: Get dark colors like this one. I bought a beautiful winter one that has a light background, and I can’t get out a curry stain - even with all the products/tricks that usually work. But I’m loving this print combined with the overall quality. It’s an expensive, but it’s a nice investment if you enjoy cooking and aprons! It’s longer than I realized, but it’s a good length for me. For size reference , I’m 5’7” and 177 lbs.

This apron is simply beautiful. Very well made and I love the fabric. Sturdy enough to want to use every day but not so stiff and rough feeling to make it uncomfortable. It's also just a beautiful addition to my kitchen that it will look nice just hanging on a peg when not in use. I've paid much more for aprons that aren't nearly as nice and durable. Would purchase 10x over and probably will be ordering more to gift.

This apron is a very good quality, and the two front pockets are so handy, and is a good length. The birds on a wire are very cute also!
