I bought it to replace the cheap felt gaskets on my pellet stove. It's easy to cut, seals tighter than the OEM crap, and holds up extremely well. A cheap investment to keep the system closed with no air leaks

To clarify my headline review. I purchased to use for gasket for a custom dust collection connection. It is a good thickness, seems very well made, but I could not get any glue to stick to it. CA, epoxy, nothing worked. From a quality standpoint, I rate it very high, but for my use it just didn't work....so not sure what I am/would use this for so I knocked a star off. Can't recommend, but also can't not recommend based on what your use case might be.

This high-temp silicone sheet is perfect for making gaskets for pellet stoves! It cuts cleanly, seals well, and is reusable, unlike white gaskets stove manufacturers use. I've also successfully used it on my RV's Suburban furnace. And in a pinch I used it to make a temporary gasket on our Onan generator's exhaust manifold pipe! (It's still working!!!)

This is a very high quality commercial grade sheet of very high heat resistant silicone and I would highly recommend it for any use where such a material is desired. I myself bought it to add a higher heat resistance and larger area of protection to my canvas hot tent around the stove jack where the chimney pipes come thru the tent and I feel my family is 200% safer now because of it.This material offers about 2 times the heat resistance of the stove jack itself and increased the area protected quite a bit as well.I bought two sheets and put one on each side (inside and out) of the stove jack and used high heat red silicone to adhere it to the canvas tent material.It provides me with a much safer hot tent for my family and I am very pleased with the purchase. I also recommend this seller very much,I asked them for help with the proper application of the material in the exact situation I wished to use it for and they replied to me very quickly and gave me a very detailed explanation and several helpful tips on how to use it and properly adhere it the material I needed it to stick to.Highly recommend the product and the seller!
