Progesterone Creme 2 oz. Jar

With each passing month, my life was getting worse. My PMS symptoms started to get worse and worse beginning around age 36, and after a few years I decided to research PMDD. The main prescription for PMDD relief was Prozac, and I couldn't believe that a psychotropic drug was even considered for this. Other "solutions" were stress management (I'm rarely stressed), diet (mine's fine; not a lot of processed junk and no sodas), and exercise (I do advanced martial arts classes 3x/week & am active otherwise). Not satisfied with that in the slightest, I read up on estrogen dominance and went to Dr. John Lee's website to take a hormone questionnaire. Yup - totally estrogen dominant. My first recommendation is to use this product for cramps. Both my teenaged daughter and I put it on our lower abdomen, and no Midol or ibuprofen for us anymore! It is truly fantastic. For everything else, I've had about an 80% reduction in my PMDD/estrogen dominance symptoms, which include: - rage (from 10 days of irrational "upset" to 2 days of mild snappiness) - mental fogginess (usually about 4-5 days of not knowing what I'm supposed to do next to 1 day of mental fatigue/not focusing) - 90% reduction in cramps (I usually get them front & back as well as down to my upper thighs 4-5 days prior to my period and all the way through it; I had barely 2 days of mild cramping only in my abdomen - no back cramps!!!) - period went from 7 days to 4 days - physical fatigue (usually 4-5 days of aching body and inability to get up or have the desire to do anything; went down to about a half of one day) I applied the cream from days 12-26 of my cycle and alternated the areas where I applied. For one month, I used approximately 1/4 of the tub. I estimate that each tub will last me 4-5 months - you CANNOT beat the price!!! I will absolutely, positively be purchasing this product again. There doesn't seem to be much (if any) smell at all. The cream itself is pretty light and it absorbs quickly and easily into the skin. I Googled the different areas where it is absorbed best, and rotated those out. It doesn't leave a residue on your skin and you can't tell it's there after you've applied it. I also have VERY sensitive skin and allergic to mango/papaya, and this product had absolutely no effect whatsoever on my skin or allergies. I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you get a blood or saliva hormone test if you can afford it/insurance covers it, or that you Google Dr. John Lee + "Take the Hormone Balance Test" if you are over 35 and experiencing the symptoms I described above. The two times in your life that your progesterone are in the toilet (hence the estrogen dominance) is right before you get your first period and right before you're going into peri/pre-menopause. I had no idea, and I am very happy to have discovered something that relieves my symptoms thus far. Two enthusiastic, grateful thumbs up for this product! :)

I started to use this cream less than a month ago. I am 46 years old with a very regular menstrual cycle. I noticed my pms symptoms getting worse and worse, to the point where it was almost debilitating. I run a business,and I am around people all day long, so I dread the time when my pms symptoms would start. My symptoms from a scale of 1-10 where all definitely 10's in my misery department. About a week before my period, I would get overwhelmingly anxious, depressed, bloated,and tired. As if this isn't bad enough, I would get an INSATIABLE appetite, and I would often undo all the hard work of dieting and exercise. I have experienced some changes in my cycle, and I knew menopause was right around the corner, so I did some research on peri- menopause and estrogen dominance. I was utterly blown away! I AM the poster child for ED. I read about how progesterone cream can help, and I thought at this point, I have nothing to lose. I chose this particular cream because it contains no soy, and for the positive reviews. Having Hashmoto's thyroiditis, soy can worsen the symptoms. Also, this cream is bio- indentical. Upon doing further research, I discovered that having ED could mask as hypothyroidism and often overlooked by most doctors. They just keep giving you pills without looking at the crux of the problem. Anyway, I decided to be my own advocate and to take matters into my own hands. In my first month, I sailed through pms with no sore breasts, headaches, or hungry horrors! I feel more chipper. My hair stopped falling out, and to my unexpected amazement, I am losing weight faster! Why, oh why didn't I find this sooner! I have to address one thing though, make sure to take the recommended dosage of 1/4 tsp. Some women said on some reviews that one jar would last 3 months. This is not so unless one takes a smaller dosage. One jar would last approximately one month, and it's still a very small price to pay considering the benefits. Peace:)

I have been suffering severe PMS symptoms for a long time, especially since I had my first daughter 5 years ago. I was feeling like an emotional disaster and physically exhausted 14 days of the month. My ob-gyn. told me to take anti-depressants. I knew I was not depressed, but I couldn't go on any longer feeling bad. After a year of experimenting with several of them, I found no relief, only bad side effects and frustration. I also like clockwork would get very bad acne on the 14th day of my cycle, for which I was on an antibiotic face cream to help. After researching hormones and finding that I fit the description for estrogen dominance, I tried this progesterone cream and IT IS AWESOME!!! I feel like I am getting half of my life back- 14 days every month!! I am so happy. I feel normal and I no longer feel like I'm losing my mind. Also, this is a great price. I am taking a few liver cleansing herbs and milk thistle to help get rid of extra estrogen. I am noticeably back to my old self, with only pleasant side effects, no more constant crying and feeling "awful". My wonderful husband is also happy. He says "I vote for this cream". I hope this product or any natural progesterone cream like it is able to help many other women. I use 1/2 of the dose in the AM and half in the PM rotating it do different spots on my arms and neck. Also for the first time in years, I didn't get the monthly acne. My face looks much clearer and I have stopped the anti-biotic cream. It's absurd and hurtful that doctors, do not recommend this to their patients who are really suffering. I'm so glad I found this product.

Because I have PCOS, my doctor had told me one way to combat some of the symtims was by using a progesterone product. However, I couldn't use it in pill form because of complications w/other medications I was taking for clotting. I'm almost 50 years old, and I wasn't expecting to have a period w/this product. Yet, I did have a mild one that lasted about 7-8 days including some spotting. This caught me totally off guard. The product rubs in quickly, there's no smell, no burn, no colorization of the skin, no staining or sting. The only directions that could be found were on Amazon and not on the container which I found odd. I'm still not sure what 1/4 of a tsp is so eyeing how much to take out may not be even every day. The only thing I could think of was using my cooking spoons that I use to measure out spices. Otherwise, I can't say that I've encountered any problems w/using this progesterone creme. It feels silky going on the skin, dries quickly. I love the fact that it has only a few ingredients and isn't loaded down w/things that I don't need or want. Totally organic and holistic. I will more than likely end up buying this product again.

This product works great! A little history on me I'm 36 years old and I get severe cramps 2 weeks prior of my period like clock work every month. My cramps are so bad I would have to call out of work,it wakes me up I'm the middle of the night. If I hold my urine to long it will trigger them off. I have tried so many herbal medication,Maya abdominal massages and not saying it didn't help me but the cramps still came sometimes more bare able then others. Honestly I knew in my heart something was off I had to be imbalanced. I never used progesterone a day in my life to my knowledge but I was desperate to stop hurting. I'm glad I stumble across this cream. This is my first time using it this month. Day 14 I started using the cream 2x a day rubbing it directly on my lower belly and lord and behold I only cramped 3 times for about 10 minutes each here and there vs me cramping everyday and every night straight for 14 days. I'll take three sporadic days any day. My period is a couple of days away and for the first time in over 15 year's this month I have practically been pain free. I will continue to use this product until I don't have to use it again. I hope my story help someone who symptoms sounds like mines.Things work different on different ppl however what do you have to lose its worth a try it worked for me!

I purchased this item because my hormone levels are low. After doing research, since I didn't want synthetic hormones because they can cause cancer, I knew wild yam without fertilizer/pesticides was the best to improve the levels of sex hormones. The item hightlighted "Progesterone USP from Wild Yam", the main ingredient I was looking for. But, in the ingredient section and on the bottle does NOT say "wild yam" anywhere. The point: the company made the statement "wild yam" in advertising the item but, how do one know if the progesterone is actually from "wild yam" and not synthetic progesterone. The bottle would/should had the wording "wild yam" on it, if it was indeed from "wild yam". Since it did NOT, the consumer should take it as a "WARNING" when purchasing this/any item. There are alot of so-called "NATURAL" products but when you read what's on the box/bottle, you will find IT'S NOT!!! Unfortunately, I had the bottle for a month, used it for almost 2 weeks then, read the bottle. It was too late to return it. I took it for granted that it had/said "wild yam" in it's makeup. Also, the progesterone was midway down as an ingredient. It should of had been the first three (3) as the most important/main ingredient, like bread, cereal, etc.

I am 46 years old and started this past year with peri-menopausal symptoms--hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, insomnia, and memory loss. I have been using this product for the past few months and cannot get over the difference a little 1/4 teaspoon of cream has made. I feel normal again---hot flashes are almost 100% gone, I no longer feel so anxious like I'm jumping out of my skin, sex drive is amazing, insomnia has diminished, energy level is great, and I feel so much more relaxed and content. I would recommend this cream to any woman who is experiencing peri-menopause and is wants to feel normal again. The cream is easy to use---1/4 teaspoon appied daily to either chest, upper arms, or inner thighs on a rotating basis. I do want to warn that your first period may be more heavy than normal. I did some research on biodentical progesterone and found out that this is what's referred to as an "awakening bleed" after starting the hormone, and is nothing to be alarmed about. I urge all of you women out there that are suffering to give it a shot.

I'm writing this after my first 3 weeks of use and will update as I continue to use it. I first used a different brand of progesterone cream a few years ago for my PCOS symptoms while I was going through menopause and can't say that I noticed any improvement, though I used it for at least a year. This Natural Radiance Progesterone Creme, however, has already made a difference. Almost immediately upon starting it, I noticed that I slept better than I had been sleeping for a few years. My sleep is deeper and longer and I feel more rested after waking up...a huge improvement in a problem I wasn't even trying to solve! Also, as another reviewer noted for her, my libido has increased noticeably. It has never been very low, which was one happy consequence of PCOS, but had decreased some since menopause. The progesterone effect on my libido now makes me feel like I did when I was younger...a great feeling. My primary goal in using this cream has been to reduce my hair problems, too little on my head and too much on my face! For that, I can't say that I have noticed a difference, yet, but realize that it could take several months for things to improve. The only negative that may have to do with the cream: I felt sad and depressed for a couple of days after stopping the cream for the off week. This emotional effect could be due to other things in my life, too. It is something I will watch for next month and report on in my review update. One other comment: the cream has a mildly offensive odor when I first apply it, but that seems to disappear quickly. It's definitely not strong enough for me to quit using it. I think it may just be that there are no chemicals added for improved odor or appearance...a plus in my opinion. So, I am giving this product 4 stars because it has had a real, mostly positive impact, and I'll review it again in a couple of months to report on any other effects that I notice, positive or negative.
