If you were to unplug this unit (disconnect from the power source) and then reconnect (plug in), does the unit remember the previous settings?

Hi , thanks for asking. The light bar does have memory function , but only work when the power is connected, which means if you just turn on or off the switch, the setting will remaining. But if you unplug the light, iy cannot remember the previous setting, you have to reset it.

How do I switch between the three colors and adjust the brightness?

As in the video, the color and brightness can be easily adjusted by buttons, which is very convenient.

I want to know this cabinet light brighten enough for an over the desk light? need this light work in my home desk.

it should be, I use it as a main lamp in my living room and it's just as bright as the LED bulb I was using prior, the issue though for a desk is you can't really angle it, like a desk lamp with a light head that can be moved, so you might have issues finding a place where it lights properly the area you're trying to light because of it's lack of ability to angle.
