Great product. Able to walk with conference in icy condition

These give great security when walking on icy surfaces and give assurance of grip, particularly when walking my dogs. I measured my boots and compared to the diagram and matched the size, but in hindsight should have gone for the size below as these stretch and mine tend to move on the boot, but otherwise excellent. Only tiny gripe was that one spike cluster came away, but not detrimental overall.

Bought as a gift for a friend. Her reply was "These are absolutely brilliant, great fit and easy to put on, I was able to walk safely on both the snow and ice without slipping" So it's definitely a 5 star product worth buying, great price and we would both recommend them.

I ordered these for my husbands walking boots and they did arrive well in time. Whilst they fitted the ball of the foot part of the boot they would not stretch to fit onto the heel no matter what he tried. They slipped off and ended up in the gulley in front of the heel, which as you can imagine is of no use at all - sadly have been sent back

I was expecting great things from these due to the claw like metal parts. They LOOK fine till you fit them. The rubber part does stay gripped to your foot, well just, but strangely fitted crooked, and despite straightening the continued to skew on my foot. Then I tried to do up the straps, what a waste of time, as the ‘Velcro’ will not stay together, kept coming undone partly because they are a bit short, but it must be there for a reason, I had to buy a roll of Velcro to replace the straps, honestly? Why wasn’t this tested? The important bit walking on ice and snow. Apart from the straps keeping coming undone I could easily walk on highly slippy sheet ice and be confident I would not fall. So they do work and due to the claw design could also walk on areas with no snow and ice, the claw design stayed put and was easy to walk on. Hoping that’s helpful.

The Ice/Snow grips that were sent (XL) were a different design to that advertised. I had bought the large grips and got the XL for my husband. WE couldn't work out how to fit the velcro strap as there were no side attachments. It took 2 messages to the seller to get the information as the leaflet was impossible to understand. Now understand how to fix the velcro straps and they look sturdy. i hope we won't need to test for a while though!

Product arrived and was not as shown on-line. The attaching strap was not as shown and I returned the grippers. I wanted grippers easy to attach to a boot/shoe; these were not.

Good things - the spikes are great and work really well on ice or compacted snow. The heel strap is a good addition and works well. Sizing is accurate, I have size 46 boots and the fit is good. Less good - the rubber compound that the grips are made of is very slippery which means the grips slide around on the boot and need to be repositioned every 50 or 100m. I have owned several grips like this over the years and these are by far the least stable on the boot.

Los materiales con los que esta construido tienen muy buena pinta, el plástico parece muy resistente y moldeable para no estropearse al caminar con el puesto. Los remaches con los que están sujetos los clavos se ve que son de buena calidad y trasmiten una sensación de durabilidad que comparte todo el sistema. Una vez puestos en la bota quedan bien sujetos y no se mueven lo mas mínimo (las botas de la foto son un 43 y pedí la talla L). Una vez están puestos y caminas por un suelo adecuado no se nota que los llevas puestos. En definitiva estoy muy contento con la compra y espero que me duren mucho tiempo para poder andar por el monte en invierno sin tener miedo a resbalarme.
