Pictures are so realistic. Sounds is great and it is fairly user friendly. Reading the directions always help. I have had several compliments on the art work I have chosen. It would be nice to have more free pictures to use instead of having to pay for them.

I purchased this TV as an upgrade from a Sony 75" X900F. We switched to streaming this year and are watching significantly more content that is in letterbox format. Our seating is 12ft away and the extra screen space makes a big difference. It is just enough to really fill the vision, and I think if the distance is 10ft or less then it would be too big. To me, this TV is definitely the best QLED available. OLED just isn't bright enough for many rooms during the day unless you are prepared to create a home theater space that can be blacked out. The mini-LED backlighting on the QN90B really makes a difference, especially in movies. Dark scenes are far more distinct and the bloom around white titles on black backgrounds or near sharp transitions from dark to light are much improved. You can make the picture as vivid as you like, although after some fiddling I decided that movie mode defaults, with just a little motion handling enabled was perfect for me. The only area I knocked down a bit was the smart features. I have been using Roku for quite a while now but always like to try the native features on a new TV. There are some interesting multiscreen capabilities that I might check out, but for streaming I found the interface annoying. I'm sure I could get used to it but it seems over-engineered at the start. It seems like Samsung was deliberately trying to be different, and that isn't always a good thing. If you already use an external streaming box like Roku or AppleTV then these features probably don't matter anyway. In short, I think this is the best QLED available and the 85" size is great for a larger room. The equivalent OLED would be almost 50% more expensive, and I just don't see enough benefit to spend that extra money.

I love this tv and the teak frame. It is beautiful and easy to use. Love how it looks like art while on. You can also place photos of friends family and upload to display. We paid to have it installed so the wires do not show. Worth every penny. Overall glad we purchased this tv. Our is a 65 inch and looks really nice.

Run away!!! The Tv came missing the bezel and with a label “ refurbished “ in the back. I returned the TV and I am still appealing and fighting to get my $185.00 shipping fees reimbursed.

looked at many tvs in big department stores.we thought for price ,size and warranty this samsung was best for us.unreal how clear and bright picture is. so much detail. some complained about control,little learning curve but no big deal. has cord to recharge or solar. was worried about shipping 2000 miles to our house, but all was good. delivery driver brought into house and we unboxed it. another reason we bought from amazon,set was delivered to our house. 85 inch set would be hard for us to get home. we added samsung soundbar also HW-B650, tv control runs both and with both being samsung, the tv speakers stay on also. great sound.

I really like the picture on this set. It's much brighter than my previous Sony VIO, which I also loved. I have plugged my PS4 into it and it automatically brings up some smart Gaming settings, which is nice. No noticeable lag, but the colors do appear differently from my usual gaming monitor. The only real thing that bothers me, OK two things: 1. When you power it up, it takes a while for the menu UI to catch up. So, I'll be trying to change streaming services and it appears frozen for up to 10 seconds. 2. Apparently, unless you're using a Samsung Sound Bar, the ARC HDMI plug doesn't not operate as an ARC should. I tried plugging my entertainment stereo system into the ARC and it will not work. Kept turning on the TV speakers instead. I've read online that it only really supports Samsung Sound Bars. That would all be OK except that now every time I turn on the TV, I get an alert that I don't have my sound system plugged into the ARC port and I have to clear the alert before I can do anything else. Very annoying. They need to fix this on an otherwise nearly perfect set.

Easy to hang, picture is great and it looks like a painting when not turned on. Very slim

Set up was easy, Pedastal was an easy install, plugged in and everything went great. Added apps and it was ready to go. The picture quality is great. Thought I needed a new receiver for sound. Ran the optical cable to my 5.1 Harmon Kardon, although an older model that can't process 4k video, the difference in sound quality from the Samsung TV gave it a new life. It sounds great. All video goes straight to TV, therefore no issues watching 4k. I would highly recommend this TV. Remotes could be better thought out but that's the only negative I have.
