Biswaye V8 Replacement Battery Compatible with Dyson V8 SV10 Vacuum Battery

Over the past six to seven years, we have been thoroughly satisfied with our Dyson V10 vacuum cleaner. However, approximately a year ago, the battery began to deteriorate rapidly. Due to the high cost of Dyson vacuums, we have been forced to make do with the vacuum until a replacement battery becomes available. After conducting some research, I discovered that it was relatively straightforward to replace the battery in a Dyson vacuum. This made it an appealing option, and I decided to give it a try. The installation process was remarkably simple, requiring only three screws and eliminating the need for any wires. Once the battery was replaced, we were immediately impressed with the improved performance. The replacement battery provides significantly longer runtime, doubling the duration of the previous battery. Additionally, the battery’s performance is superior to that of the original Dyson battery. In conclusion, we are pleased with our decision to replace the battery rather than purchasing a new Dyson vacuum. This approach has proven to be a cost-effective solution that has allowed us to continue using our vacuum cleaner without interruptions.

Easy install. Works great. Dyson V7. As far as I can tell, it is exactly like the original except for these two things: 1. The battery now lasts much longer - even longer than when the vacuum was brand new. 2. I noticed the battery connection to the charger is a bit tight. I don't notice any difference when I hang up the vacuum on the charger, but then when I remove the vacuum from the charger, I noticed that it sticks a bit and I need to pull a bit harder to disconnect it. UPDATE 4/30/2023: After 2.5 years of use, we're starting to notice that the battery isn't lasting as long now. Starting to think about buying another one now. Still 5 stars!

This was the second time I ordered these. Works great at first. First one worked wonderfully for a couple weeks and then vac would keep turning off after sucking for a few seconds. Ordered second because thought battery was a lemon. And it worked for a few months before doing the same. Spend extra and get the actual Dyson battery

Perfect fit for old Dyson v7 stick vacuum. This is my third replacement battery over the years and all the aftermarket batteries have performed as well or better than OEM. All you have to do is remove four tiny, and I mean tiny screws to pop the one old battery out and pop the new one in. Do be prepared to find the smallest Phillips screw driver they make or you could strip the screw heads and ... be screwed.

Battery fit perfectly in my Dyson

I bought the V7 replacement battery 4 1/2 years ago and it has served us well, with almost daily use. But even the best of batteries wear out eventually, and it is now time to replace it. Definitely getting the same model again - it has proven its value. It fits fine, works perfectly, and obviously lasts a very long time.

This is a great alternative to an OEM battery. You just need to make sure you buy the correct type as there are 2 types. My DC45 was unable to vacuum for more than a couple of minutes, and stops almost instantly at MAX mode. With this new battery I'm able to use MAX mode for longer time. I'm not really sure how long the battery will last on a single charge but I dont have to charge it every often. ~$50 to replace and keep a backup vacuum cleaner was a good deal to me.

Unfortunately I was away and couldn’t test it and then the return window had expired. It worked once but can’t be charged.

Removing the battery from my unit revealed it was a DC 35 B. Important for people to know there is an A and B type of DC 35. A snap to install. Charged up and it’s like a new vacuum. This unit was a pass off from my daughter and had little capacity. I bought this battery and a new floor head which is not powered. It works great on our tile and hardwood. Can now vacuum pretty much all of the main floor, including baseboards without the unit shutting off. Impressive!

It works, but it's not the true Dyson battery. It does the suck aswell as the other battery but it saved me 130 bucks on a new battery ! Highly recommend if you don't want to spend that 190 on a battery..

Make sure its the correct fitting battery.. This had great reviews & fairly priced. It fits in great ...charged it up as mentioned. Works great, are old battery was down to 15mins ..then 10mins of life.. So it was time..! Now we get about 30mins on our animal Dyson 45.. *without using the Turbo mode. which is about right ..when it was new. I would recommend to all.
