Hefty Slider Freezer Bags, Gallon Size, 56ct

Love these hefty slider freezer bags. The work well . Easy to close and open. Thick and prevent freezer burn . Gallon size is what I use . I order all the time. Good value for the price .

We use these Hefty Slider Freezer bags in the gallon size for so many things. When we buy deli lunch meat on sale, my wife portions it out and freezes in one of these bags. Therefore, there are generally bags of salami, good deli pepperoni, ham and turkey breast in the freezer. She can just grab whatever she plans to make for my lunch, thaw overnight and there's never been a lack of freshness. We like to take advantage of the deli deal that Safeway often has on Fridays, where you can get a pound of their best meats and cheeses for $5 a lb. Another way we use these bags is to contain all the open packages of various size batteries that used to be rolling around in a big drawer. Now, each type has their own bag. When I need a couple AA batteries - boom, there they are. My wife sometimes freezes cookies in these bags, and will often utilize them for marinating meats or veggies to grill. She also keeps one for garden greens she washes and spins dry, then puts a paper towel in there. Keeps the greens crisp and fresh. She rinses those bags out and reuses, which is great. The only thing that happened, was once or twice, the zipper was messed up. Otherwise, these are great bags for sure.

I love these Hefty Slider Freezer Kitchen Storage Bags in the Quart Size. They are safe and so easy to use. The slider bags stay closed for wrapping your groceries and stacking in the freezer with no leaks, no odors, and no air if you carefully squeeze the air out as you slide it is closed. And 74 bags for a very good low price. What a bargain! The quart size is perfect and looks great as they are clear so you can actually see what is in the bag when you look for an item in the freezer. The versatility of wrapping newly divided hamburger from the grocery store for individual hamburgers or leftovers. You decide!

Great quality slider freezer bag. Holds up well and lasts a long time. Thick and portable for on the go as well.

The Hefty Slider Freezer Kitchen Storage Bags, Quart Size, 74 Count, are a reliable solution for storing food in the freezer, fridge, or for organizing kitchen items. They combine durability, convenience, and ease of use in a single package. Durability & Strength: These freezer bags are thick and sturdy, designed to prevent leaks, spills, and freezer burn. I’ve used them to store soups, sauces, and frozen fruits, and they’ve held up without tearing or breaking. The material feels strong enough to handle repeated use. Easy Slider Closure: The slider makes sealing and opening the bags quick and effortless. Unlike traditional zip-top bags, the slider ensures a secure closure every time, keeping food fresh and protected. Even children can use them easily, which is a plus for family kitchens. Size & Versatility: The quart-size bags are perfect for individual portions, leftovers, or snacks. They’re also useful for organizing small items beyond the kitchen, such as craft supplies or travel essentials. With 74 bags in the pack, there’s plenty for everyday use and extra storage. Packaging & Convenience: The box is easy to store, and the bags pull out smoothly without tearing. The generous quantity and convenient slider make these bags a practical choice for busy households. Final Thoughts: Hefty Slider Freezer Kitchen Storage Bags are strong, easy to use, and versatile. The reliable slider closure and durable material make them perfect for storing food safely, while the quart size and bulk pack add convenience and value. They are a practical addition to any kitchen.

The bags seem to be okay, the damage to the box is concerning because these were used for food, poor packaging is the reason for taking one star off. The price, size, thickness, and ability to label the bags are all good for personal portions. The zipper closure is the primary reason for the purchase and we already know the versatility is incredible and they look nice. We will definitely purchase these again, hopefully the seller will pack them better in the future. As you can see, they seal extremely well, we were able to press all of the air out of the bags, (no freezer burned food) to make single serving size of spaghetti to place in the freezer, although we have a vacuum sealer we chose to use these bags because it’s for an upcoming trip and not long term storage, se glad we got these.

Great freezer bags! I love that I can buy these at a better price here than at my local grocery store. What I don’t love is that Amazon ships them in a thin plastic bag. The Hefty box is now as flat as a gallon freezer bags. Not very handy when you intend on using the box until the bags are gone.

The best, and lifetime supply (56) to boot, for a very reasonable price. Air locking seal for opened ham packages, or cheese, etc., or for organizing tools. Versatility and fit make it handy solution for emergencies.
