Workbook For Think Like A Monk: Train Your Mind For Peace and Purpose Everyday Review: Excellent Tool for Therapists and Personal Growth - As a licensed therapist, I purchased this workbook both for my own personal development and to implement strategies with my clients. It’s proven valuable on both fronts. Format and Accessibility: This is an easy-to-read, concise workbook that doesn’t overwhelm. The length is perfect - substantial enough to be meaningful but not so long that it feels daunting to complete. Content Quality: The questions are genuinely insightful and thought-provoking. Working through them helps identify patterns in thinking and behavior that might otherwise go unnoticed. The exercises encourage real self-reflection rather than surface-level responses. Professional Application: I’ve successfully incorporated strategies from this workbook into my therapy practice. The concepts translate well to client work, particularly for those seeking practical mindfulness and peace-building techniques. Pros: • Easy to read and understand • Concise length - not overwhelming • Insightful, thought-provoking questions • Helps identify personal patterns • Practical strategies for peace and mindfulness • Applicable for both personal use and professional practice • Great for everyday implementation Bottom Line: Highly recommended whether you’re a mental health professional looking for client resources or an individual seeking basic mindfulness and peace strategies. The workbook format makes the concepts actionable and accessible for everyday life. Review: Feels like I'm back to school! - This is definitely a workbook in the most literal sense. I remember those days in school where I would have these thick hardcover textbooks and a companion workbook with the exact same cover but the workbook only contains the stuff I want to answer. This "Think Like a Monk" workbook works the same way with action plans and checklists laid out in various chapters of the book. On top of that, Robin Reads cleverly summarize each of Shetty's chapters into easy-to-digest segments. I appreciate the "Key Insights" sections and I feel they did enough to keep me from checking out Shetty's book for the most part although his Audiobook version I still highly recommend! Consider this book as more of a companion which helps you act out all the mind training you learned in the original as well as get key refreshers. Totally worked out for me and please support Shetty's work too!

The book seemed useful.
There are solutions here for avoiding inner fears, negativity and stress. I liked the statement in it: 1)Understanding the origins of negativity in your life will help to uproot and manage it 2) We need to practice forgiveness The correct planning structure (goal, actions, overall plan) helped me reduce some problems.

Cliff notes for book.
Gives brief summary of topics addressed in actual book. I enjoy the actual book but this helpful in covering main points for review.

The book is great!
You will understand what meditation is and how to live consciously. It is written in clear language. I began to think about many things that I had not thought about before. After reading the book, I began to analyze things around me more.
