A defense in the Highlands!
I bought them because I did a road trip of five days around the Highlands and the Isle of Skye and I was told that a lot of tiny insects populate that part of Scotland during summer time: the midges. The product demonstrated to give a very good protection against the midges, especially during the hikings. Very recommended to everyone wants to visit the Highlands!

I love this item.
😳🥺 I swear I swallowed a spider a little while ago🤢. I know “they” say we often swallow spiders at night but thankfully we are unaware of it. Once I swear in a moment where I was in between sleep and consciousness I swallowed a spider … well, not anymore 😂

Mesh could be finer
Kind of reassuring when first put on, but I'm not convinced the mesh is small enough for scottish midgies. Mosquitoes etc are fine, but I've been out birdwatching in midgie clouds, and can feel them even with the hood on.

Maybe ok to stop bigger mosquitos but the mesh size is too big to stop midges, they just fly right through. Ended up buying proper fine mesh Midge nets from an outdoor shop that actually worked!

Ça a coupé les moustiques 100% dans le nord de Suède avec des dizaines de moustiques ! Je ne sais pas pour les mouches noires, soit il n’y en avait pas soit elles sont bien empêchées
