Stonewall Kitchen Apple Cranberry Chutney, 8.5 Ounces

Not sure why but it has a delicious bit of a bite to it. Great on a turkey sandwich. It was so good, I bought another one!

It was very well packaged and I used the apple cranberry chutney atop brie cheese for a wonderful spread. You can also put on top of cream cheese for a delicious appetizer or on top of bagels as well.

Delicious chutney perfect for holidays. I mix it in my stuffing and then listen to everyone rave about how good it is!

Should have observed I wanted Cranberry chutney, not Apple Chutney. I did not discern cranberries, but clearly apples and sugar are two strongest components; no tart punch. I did detect some onion and hints of cinnamon. Not my cup of tea; somewhat sweet. Too obtain cranberry flavor off season, add some bits of jelled cranberry sauce.

I really like this chutney. Someone said something about it was like the filling in a Fig Newton, but I did not find that to be the case. It had beautiful cranberries and small pieces of apple. The taste is great and last night, I had it with Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan bread. It was the perfect complement to the meal. It's a bit pricey, but when you live in a small town with limited international food selections in the stores, at least I can get it through Amazon.

Stonewall Kitchens has good products, but the shipping was awful.

I ordered 2 of Stonewall's chutney's to go with our Thanksgiving dinner. I opened the package the day of Thanksgiving and found the 2 jars open so we couldn't eat the chutney. The top layer of the chutney jars were dry so we could tell it had been opened for a while. This was unfortunate because we have always liked their chutney.
