Does the foam have a strong chemical smell?

I bought this item was a while ago, but the one I got had absolutely no odor to it.

How wide is it really? Please measure. Gives 2 different measurements. 3" by 15" by 14", and 3" by 18" by 14". 18" seems a bit wide for some chairs.

We've measured the product the it's 18"W x 14"D x 1 1/2" - 3". The 18" measurement for the width is pretty standard for most wheelchairs. As for other seating surfaces, it would fit perfectly in most desk style chairs.

Is it good to use as a seat cushion at a concert (Hollywood Bowl)?

This seat cushion is fantastic. I use it for everything but have not been to a concert. I see no reason that it would not work well at a concert.

Is this cushion too small for a lift chair/recliner?

The cushion is 15.5 inches wide and 14 inches from front to back. My mother used one in her chair that was a lift chair/recliner. It's worth trying it as the cushion, for me personally, makes the limited time I can sit at least a comfortable experience.
