D-Con Ultra Set Covered Snap Trap 1 Ct. (Pack of 10)

There is an old saying that "invent a better mouse trap and the world will beat a path to your door". The path to d-CON's door should be worn out. This is hands down the best mouse trap I have ever used. No stolen bait. Easy to dispose of critter (no touch if that's important to you). Easy to set.

Love that these work extremely well (i.e. they kill the mouse) without making the mouse suffer the way sticky traps would, and don't have to worry about my household pets. Also love that I can pitch the whole thing or just pitch the mouse and reuse it again. Will buy more when these are gone.

The mouse goes in but does not come out. The trap is well designed and easier to dispose of the body than a regular snap trap.

I keep buying these traps because when they function properly they work well. I’ve caught lots of mice in them over the years and I like having to see the catch beyond a tail. Plus they safer for my dog than a regular snap trap. That said I have bought close to 20 of them this year and I would say 50% of them either fail to set at all or if they do set the first time but have an inadvertent snap shut they won’t set again. I don’t think it’s this vendor because I’ve bought them on Amazon and also at my local hardware store and had the same problem. A friend had the same experience as well. Super frustrating. I wish they would get it together and improve their quality control because I haven’t found a better solution on the market. Their new circular puck shaped traps haven’t worked to catch any mice at all for me.

This is a great trap. I'm finding that I may get 3 or four in the box that may not latch, and I have to basically throw them away until I get one working. However, when it does work, IT WORKS!

Did its job in just two days! We did decide to not reuse the unit though since we found it messy to clean up..but that's just us. I think it can be done if need be.

I will use these. I dont care for the old timey ones

It’s a typical snap trap that’s safer to use around pets and is less likely for the mice to suffer due to the one entry hole - 5 stars. Like others have said, a few of the traps are duds right out of the box. At three dollars a trap that can be used multiple times (and already has at the time of writing) I don’t have an issue with this. Out of the 10 traps ordered 2 were unable to be used while the rest are fine. However, one of the dud traps I received was already baited with peanut butter when I first opened the package, so it’s clear that I was sold a returned item. I’m thankful the trap wasn’t functional because it would be pretty foul to receive a trap that’s already had a dead mouse in it…
