Best hair dryer!
I have never been able to successfully blow dry and style my hair. Holding a brush and a blow dryer inevitably led to me getting my hair tangled and dropping one of them. But I recently got my hair cut and my bangs needed some help with styling so I went out on a limb and I tried this. I could not have imagined how easy it is to use. It works so well to help me dry and style my hair. My hair comes out smooth and shiny without any heat damage. The multiple settings work really well (I have fine hair so I use the low setting and it is perfect).

Salon worthy hair in less than 10 minutes from wet to dry
I was super skeptical about this product. I have tried a couple before and they never seem to work for my hair, especially because I don’t actually want a volumizer as much as a wet to dry hair straightener. However- this product is AWEOME. It dries the hair really quickly, and is really easy to use. It definitely makes the hair look like you’re straight out of the salon. It even worked on my bangs, which I was worried about because the brush is so big. I bought it because we are going on a trip and I didn’t want to take a brush and a hair drier, although it is pretty big and bulky, so not sure I really saved on space/ wight with it. But I still love it! Like other users said, it gets VERY hot, but I turned it to cool, and it was a good temperature. Surprisingly I really recommend it!

Great dryer, smoother and slight curver
I put one in my camper van and have one at home. Dry my hair quickly and smooth style it. I do have to use a curling iron if i want waves or curls, but i love it for drying my hair smoothly and quickly. Much better to brush it dry than blow it dry. Holding up well after over 6 months. Feels durable.

Smooth, soft blowout with minimal effort.
My hair looks more controlled + less frizzy Slight added volume, which I loved Overall looks more styled, super easy to use and dry my hair in less time than is usually take The size and weight were fine for me, Good quality for the price but don't hold in one spot too long ,gets very hot. Result quality: 5/5 Effort vs outcome: 5/5 (super easy for that result) Worth it? Yes

Fire Risk
Just a word of advice, do not take the other reviews mentioning fire risk lightly. My wife used this for about 8 months, and loved it. It performed well, heated quickly, was easy to use, and was very happy with it. Until just today (08/09/25) when it began to first smell of burning, then actually seeing a bit of smoke, then a very loud POP! with a flash and small electrical explosion. This all happened with zero warning, zero sign that something could be wrong, until it suddenly caught fire. I understand the failure rate of electronic products may be small, but a failure should not so quickly result in fire, it just simply stop working. Anyway, we will not be purchasing another one of these. This may not ever happen to anyone again (it shouldn't) but do you really want to risk it? Edit: I contacted Revlon customer service about this. They referred me to a company called Helen of Troy, who actually produces these for Revlon. Helen of Troy customer service was very pleasant and easy to deal with. They offered an exchange at no charge. I explained we no longer have confidence in and trust the product and instead asked for a refund. The accommodated this request and sent me a check for the full purchase price once they received the malfunctioning one. I keep the review of the product at 1 star for being potentially dangerous in its failure. Helen of Troy however receives 5 stars for their customer support and willingness to resolve the issue.

Works great for defrizzing me & drying my dog
I have both version 1 & version 2 of the Revlon Hot Air Brush. Version 2 gives me a little longer reach & is easier to hold, but both work very well for smoothing, drying, and giving root lift to my mid-length quite frizzy hair. For defrizzing, the secret is applying good smoothers to wet hair, then keeping this drying brush in contact with my scalp the entire time as I make long sweeping strokes from the roots on one side of my head, over the curve of my head, all the way to the tips of my hair that is stretched around to the opposite side of my head. Brushing my hair while keeping it tightly curved against & around my head keeps the hair under tension until it's dry, & that eliminates almost all of the frizz. I liked my version 1 very much and appreciated it's quietness and gentle heat on the low setting, so thought it would be perfect for drying my dog after her frequent baths. The dog LOVES it, and it works so well! I do have to constantly remove the long golden retriever hair from the brush as I go (the dog is shedding, & I don't want to clog the air intake or cause fire hazard), but it's easy to remove the hair using just my fingers. So now I have version 2 for myself (no, I don't use the same brush for both the dog and myself, silly). Both versions have multiple settings of heat & airflow that work well for me, and the low setting on my version 1 is quiet and just the right temperature for my dog (version 2 is just as good). Both versions are winners. I'm glad I didn't spend more for a different brand that probably wouldn't work any better. I'd still be using version 1 for myself if I hadn't signed it over to my dog, but do like the improvements of version 2.

Blow Dryer yes, Straightener no.
I thought this would straighten my hair a lot more than it did. I found that since it blows air from all sides it blow dried my hair down, but also blew my baby hairs up. I had to touch up a lot at the end. Otherwise it works as a blow dryer but I would not expect it to "straighten" your hair.
