Ive purchased over 100 LED light kits for my custom LED sign making business and these little kits are the best value. They've sold at about fourteen bucks for two sets reliably. They're good for indoor use only. With decent batteries they last a few months of use in the projects I've done for my kids. The other nice thing is the same remote works across the different sellers if the remote looks similar. The only thing with all these affordable light kits is they claim 16 different colors... I'd say it is more like 8. orange, red, white, blue, purple, green, and barely pink and an orangish yellow. The higher end lights that are four times the price do all 16 colors well.

I used these to line the ceiling of a horse trailer for extra light. They look amazing! Simple to stick to most surfaces and the remote allows me to change the color to match the wall i put contact paper on.

OK, here goes. Here’s the story so me and my husband were building my son and millennium falcon custom coffee table and wanted to put lights to illuminate it and give it that true effect. I like that they came in with multiple colors flashing strobe whatever awesome now it came to installation here we go 6‘5“ two battery packs. You would think that if you chose all blue for color, all the all the strips would go to what you selected even though you have two battery packs no it was all confusing. The light strips would not sync so now I had to go by connectors on Amazon to try to put them on one connection after hours of trying to connect these when it said it was simple it was not the red wouldn’t touch properly to the connectors than the blue one than the green so on and so on, tried over and over again cause I was thinking I was doing something wrong but connecting shouldn’t be that hard so I finally got hurray celebration all of them flashing doing it’s thing this is two days before Christmas so happy ready for installation to put the top on my husband takes it down to the garage installs the top get it all into place and one of the the light strip stopped working I go down spend another hour. Trying to figure out why the connection is not connecting then the light tape brakes now I’m short because I’ve already cut it all to fit perfectly and the USB connectors fall apart won’t stay together so I use electrical tape then they’re not connecting to the right colors so then I start panicking cause I’m running out of time. I told my husband I just gotta buy another set of these strips to get us through to present it to him and figure it out later so I order another set install them and decide to run separate pottery packs instead of have them on one strand connectivity problems again these are junk so now I got it to just barely work presented it to our son had to tap the table because loose connections. Had electrical bald up in a corner to try to hold the connections altogether we presented it and as soon as my son seen it, he loved it he, my son turned around and was walking out the garage and the light stopped working thank goodness he didn’t see that now I’m back to trying to take all that tape off and bought a different product and I hope this one works. Please don’t waste your time on this product. It is junk.

works great for me. i used them to make a giant cloud. good for crafting purposes. if you'll be using it regularly id choose a USB plug type. but these work because my idea was too far from an outlet and i didnt want to see the wires, also if you don't remember to shut it off in the morning or before you go to bed the batteries will drain pretty quickly, it doesn't have a timer or run time or anything. if they could add that feature it would be great!

I used it to make my son's spaceship light up as well as making my other son a stick figure. I really did love the product because the lights were super bright, you can change the colors and brightness and overall well for what I wanted. Only docking a star due to the connection from the battery pack wore to the led strip is only secured by the connected wire which is super thin. With my son walking around he ended up breaking the wire almost as soon as we got to the event so only parts of his costume lit up. Maybe reinforcement in that area would be ideal

Honestly its fine for start up projects. Or somwthibg for urself. Everything connected well, the adhesive didnt really stick to well. And my second strip blue was not working and no visible signs of a bad light. Also and this is my fault but they dont have an app wich is a bummer.

Work good, as expected. I own a business and use these lights often. The tape isnt the strongest but I add my own glue to ensure they stay secure. I will keep purchasing these

These lights are Amazing. I have them around my dance studio and they always make my business stand out. I love them.

Would be zero stars, one broke immediately upon trying to install, one never turned on, this is the worst quality item I've ever purchased on Amazon.

Haven’t had any issues with these lights. Used them for a retirement gift for a friend. Colours are good and bright. The controller is a bit flimsy but it does the job. Being able to cut them to length, change colour on the fly make all my custom lighting projects a breeze. Thank you.

These LED strip lights look really nice and are fun to use. The colors are bright and the remote works well with lots of options. They’re easy to stick on and set up, and they’re great for decorating small spaces. But the big downside is the battery life—they run out super fast, especially if you leave them on for a while. You’ll need to replace the batteries often, which can get annoying. Still a fun product, just be ready with extra batteries!
