I am confused... if the bottle reads 1,000 mg of magnesium then why does recommend dose state 1 tablet 3x per day? Please explain in depth as much as

The serving size is 1 tablet which contains 115mg of Magnesium (from 1000 mg Magnesium Malate). The dosage is based on clinical studies that determine how much magnesium should be taken daily to achieve the claims made on the bottle. In this case, 3 tablets are recommended daily for best results.

how large are the pills

They are fairly large, about 3/4 - 1" long and about 3/8" wide and maybe 1/4" thick. They have some kind of slippery coating so they aren't too hard to swallow.

How many tablets does it take to equal 1000 mg?

The Supplement Facts state serving size is 1 Tablet, and has 100mg Calcium (10% RDA) and 150mg Magnesium (38% RDA) per serving. 6 tablets would be 900mg, but they are so large I take the one tablet with applesauce anyway.

The label says 1000 mg, but directly underneath it says 115 mg of elemental magnesium. What does this mean???

Good quality magnesium. I have used it for 3 months and then got my magnesium checked again. Levels rose to sufficient amount. I take it with my vitamin d suppliment. Quantity of elemental magnesium is good

helps a 'bit' with energy - along with some other energy supplements. i'm OLD and most days i have NO energy, but these do seem to help a little - as previously stated, with some other supplements. when i told my doc i was taking them she included testing for magnesium in my blood work, and it came back i was taking too much, so i quit the magnesium glycinate i was taking at bedtime.
