My cat loves this scratcher! She relieves her stress on it all the time. Then she lays on it and sleeps. It lets her scratch whenever she wants to. It’s sturdy and lasts a long time. After awhile you can reverse it to the other side so you get your money worth.

It is exactly as described. Arrived very quickly and was packaged carefully so that there was no way it could be damaged during shipping. This same brand cost twice as much at Walmart. My cat has anxiety problems and these help- ALOT! I'm going to have to order another cuz the cats don't want to share! When one side wears out you can use the other side. Can be hung (doorknob, etc.) or put on floor (my cats prefer the floor). Comes with a bag of catnip. Sprinkle a little bit on at a time to draw the cat to it so they know it's theirs. My cat used to scratch the furniture, but since I started buying these for him he stopped being destructive AND stopped spraying AND stopped caterwauling!

I bought this for my mom's cat , who is very picky about where she uses her precious claws. My mother had bought several scratchers and put them in her favorite place , behind the couch, as her favorite scratcher IS the couch, instead of the many scratchers placed there for her use. After reading the reviews on this super scratcher, I felt pretty good about ordering although my Mother was still skeptical. Let me tell you that as soon as we placed it behind the couch, she started using it and has not scratched the couch since! This was a joyous moment as she ignored all the others. Now she even lays on it! This little cat scratcher is a life saver! I got the double wide and it is plenty big for her to get her scratching done and lounge on ( she is about 7-10 lbs). I was impressed with its durability. She started using it about a month ago and scratches the heck out of it and it still has a lot of life left in it. I don't see a reason to replace anytime soon. My recommendation: The Kitty Kat scratcher is well worth the money spent.and as cat lovers know, scratcher prices can range from about $10 ( lowest) to several times that. We feel like we hit the lottery with this low priced scratcher.

Update 09/30/2017: My cats love these, we have been keeping 3 out at a time in various rooms around the house. I have it as part of my Amazon Subscribe and Save and I rotate out the most ragged one. Recently there's been a design change, the cardboard is definitely more sturdy and it's somehow treated with catnip so the package does not come with the catnip separately. It's nice that it's more sturdy, it seems like it will last longer. And if your cat likes the new set-up I can see that you'll have less mess. My cats need their nip so I continue to sprinkle with catnip, which I have on hand. It looks like the price has gone down, so, overall, you may have less mess and longer use but you may also need to purchase extra catnip. Adding a picture of our mama introducing to her babes for the first time! Cats all love it! Have chewed it apart a bit, we've taped the corners up with packing tape. Decided to include it in the monthly subscribe and save order, so we'll toss and give them a new one each month. We have 3 cats, one giant and 2 smallish, bought to encourage them to scratch this and not our new furniture. So far it's working, none have scratched the furniture. Definitely recommend!

Cat really likes it. I must say, it arrived many days late and was very unhappy BUT I went and bought one in the store because it was needed as my pet was going on a short trip with me. She really likes it. I have purchased others for just a couple of dollars less and slightly fancy lookingvwoth some contour etc. forget it. At least she seals this one out and jumps on it. The others she would walk past and go for the rug instead as if they didn’t even exist. So 4.5 stars on this one. Thank you!

My cat loves these! I have been buying similar cardboard scratching pads for my cat for a few years now and he loves them. They are easy to set up, and I usually use a little catnip to get him acclimated to a new one. In fact, this product comes with a ton of catnip that you can spread over the top of the cardboard to get your cat excited. Whenever I have one of these pads, my cat doesn't scratch any pieces of furniture or rugs. This allows me to keep my things nice while also allowing my cat to groom himself properly and get his excessive energy out. When I put this new scratcher down yesterday, my cat ran to it immediately and started plucking away with his paws. He rolled around on it for a while, getting the catnip all over himself. Then he remained glued to the scratcher for a few hours because he was so happy! The only negative feedback I have is that these only last for a few months and the cardboard pieces travel. There are times when I find little pieces of cardboard in my bed and it can be pretty frustrating. It just means I have to sweep a bit more.

Bootsie loves to practice her clawing on this corrugated cardboard scratcher and not elsewhere! She is a 7 yr but old female cat and each side of the scratcher lasts for one month.

This is an amazing and cost efficient kitty scratcher. I love that the cardboard is actually infused with cat nip rather than having to sprinkle it on top. My cats love it and it really lasts!! Definitely a MUST have if you have kitties I recommend this to clients all the time @ my job.
