I love these headphones. Easily the best you're going to find in this price range.
I can't say enough good things about these headphones. I wanted something in the £150 - £200 price range that have good sound quality, reliable bluetooth connection and are suitable for both music production and for enjoying music, films and gaming. These tick all the boxes for me and more. I think for the price range you're not going to get a better pair of wireless headphones. I tried and returned various other headphones by other brands before finding these. - Sound Quality: For the price these have a really nice sound. The default flat EQ is perfect for music production and audio monitoring as it gives accurate but high quality sound. However when listening to music, watching films or gaming I switch over to my custom EQ (slight low end and upper mid range increase) which brightens up the sound slightly. I really appreciate the mobile app that these come with as it allows you to customise the EQ to your liking, as well as other customisation features. The app itself is well designed too. - Build Quality - These feel really well made and are extremely comfortable to wear. I've worn them for 5 hours straight and didn't notice any discomfort, it's worth mentioning that I wear glasses too. The buttons are simple to use once you get used to which buttons are where. The folding feature is nice too. I've not tried the audio cable yet but that also feels high quality, as does the leather carry bag the headphones come with. - Battery Life: Lasts forever on a single charge and charges very quickly. - Bluetooth Connection: Works as it should. Easy to connect, has very good range and doesn't randomly cut out. Also with the low latency mode active I can't see any latency whatsoever, making them perfect for gaming and films. I tried coming up with some cons about these headphones but honestly couldn't think of anything. Really happy with them.

Good but.....
I purchased these headphones of the good reviews and AI said they were good, which they are. They're built solidly well, they're clear, and have a good sound, and have a decent Bluetooth range. Connectivity is spot on and it instantly paired with my phone. Also what impressed was when I paired with my phone it put its app straight on my phone, meaning you can control all it's functions using the app instead of fiddling with the small buttons on the headphone itself. All's good but one slight letdown for me was it isn't that loud on full volume, hence 4 instead of 5 stars. I have a pair of £25 Veroras headphones, in honesty I still prefer the sound on them as the match the sound of these and are louder. But as far as these AT tins they are good and very well made...

Excellent headphones
I've previously had the m70x wired headphones so I decided to buy these when I recently purchased a new laptop. The sound is excellent and they are really comfortable. Bluetooth works flawlessly, battery life is more than good enough, and the app is well designed and works for what I need. Wired they do a very good job too. Would recommend to anyone and hope AT do a version 3

Absolutely magic - best in class
Audio Technica, in my opinion , produce some of the highest quality audio gear you can get, and they always price it mid range... so its fantastic value. Build quality is awesome. Just like the ATH-M50 s that have served me well for .. must be 8 +years Bluetooth is reliable, good range, and connects instantly. Sound quality .. just as good as ATH-M50.. Battery life is awesome. Seem to last for days and days and days... They seem to have perfected things like autmatically going into low power modes, and awaking for power save. I frequently fall asleep listening to music.. I wake in the morning and they are still "battery high". i think i went through 5 other pairs of bluetooth headphones before i got myself a pair, and none of the rest were in the same league. Thoroughly recommended

Excellent Sound Clarity with Phenomenal Battery Life
I bought the M50xBT2's because I already have a decent condenser boom mic and wanted to move away from gaming headsets with questionable sonic performance. These headphones do not disappoint. They blow my old HS50 wireless gaming headset out of the water in terms of sound quality and battery life. Contrary to what some well-known HiFi reviewers have said about this product, they also sound even better when hardwired with the supplied 3.5mm jack. I now use them wired when at my work station, if I need to get up and move around I can just unplug the jack on the headphone end, push a button to power them on, and connect automatically via Bluetooth. Regarding ease of Bluetooth connection setup and connection reliability, Audio Technica did a great job here, and I have not had a single connection issue. If I disconnect them from my PC's Bluetooth, I get a popup on my android phone asking if I want to connect them there which makes switching between devices very straightforward. These headphones do not have noise cancellation (which degrades sound quality and reduces battery life anyway), so I gave them full marks in that field. It does not seem fair to mark down these excellent headphones for not having something that would reduce their performance. Battery life is around 65 hours on a single charge. I would buy these again in a heartbeat, highly reccommended.

Top drawer
The headphones are great. A few of the professional reviews say they're a bit tight with regard having a lot of pressure. I've never noticed. These are classed as 'studio' headphones, but ignore that too, they make music sound wonderful. I would state that you need to download the app and configure it to your needs, specifically it has an equaliser and I'd recommend setting it to the 'V' preset which makes it sound more like most other headphones. The mic works great and without requiring an extension lead it makes them much easier to use and one less thing to use, but the lack of proximity to the mouth seems to not have any effect. Great for music and gaming.

Best choice regardless of price
If you’re looking for a pair of Bluetooth over ears, look no further. Every professional studio has at least one pair of M50X headphones. This is a studio quality pair of headphones at the cost of the low to mid tier competitor headphones. The app even has parametric EQ! They’re comfy to wear even if you don’t have baby ears (I’m looking at you, Sennheiser BT450). They’re a bit heavier than the competitors, but that’s a good thing. They feel (and are) a very rugged, solid pair of cans. The competitors are lighter and feel really cheap. Stop looking. These are the ones.

Rich and Detailed sound
What can I say... there's no other words that can describe the sound quality and superior build structure. Those 45mm drivers delivers whatever you ask them to do without distortion or clipping. The included AK4331 DAC inside M50xBT2 alone is enough to explain how powerful M50xBT2 sounds like. Want Bass? It delivers... want Treble? It delivers. Anything you throw at it either through Equalizer or AT Connect App EQ will DELIVER!! LDAC? It is included and supported! Leaves wired headphones to the dust. What more do you need? I hate wired headphones and ANC so... M50xBT2 works for perfectly for me👌

COME SUONANO? Molto bene, davvero molto bene.

Studio-Quality Sound with Wireless Freedom
The Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT2 Wireless Headphones are outstanding if you want professional-grade audio performance combined with the convenience of Bluetooth. These headphones keep the well-known sound signature of the classic M50x studio monitors while adding modern wireless features and improved connectivity. From a technical standpoint, the headphones use 45 mm large-aperture dynamic drivers, which deliver excellent clarity, strong midrange detail, and controlled low-frequency response. The sound profile is very balanced and accurate, making them great not only for casual listening but also for music production, mixing reference, and critical listening. Key technical highlights: • 45 mm drivers provide detailed and dynamic audio reproduction • Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity for stable wireless performance • Support for high-quality codecs like AAC and LDAC for higher-resolution wireless audio • Multipoint pairing allows connection to two devices simultaneously (for example a phone and laptop) • Excellent battery life—over 60 hours of playback on a full charge • Quick-charge capability that provides hours of listening from a short charge The build quality is also impressive. The headphones feel sturdy and professional, with comfortable ear pads and a design that seals around the ears for good passive noise isolation. Controls on the ear cup are intuitive, and the built-in microphone works well for calls or online meetings. Another feature I really appreciate is that the headphones can be used both wirelessly and with a cable, making them versatile for studio setups, travel, or everyday listening. Overall, these headphones deliver excellent sound accuracy, long battery life, and strong connectivity, making them a fantastic choice for musicians, producers, content creators, or anyone who wants studio-level audio quality in a wireless format.
