Much better than I was expecting
Item arrived and was pretty easy to put together. Instructions were not the best, but also not to hard to understand. Took me about 15mins to fully assemble. The LCD isn’t the best as far as info on it, but the app is pretty good. It even has different training videos and the app when connected to the machine will tell you how fast you are rowing and how fast you should be based on the time and intensity of the training. Really nice feature I wasn’t expecting from this. I’m 6’3 and I’m able to use the machine and go back fully without hitting the end. I have about 2 inches more I could go back, so I’d say 6’5 would be my guess as the limit. The rail is very smooth, better than I was expecting at this price point. Resistance levels are great. When I first got on I rowed fro about 10 seconds and thought this was way to easy at level 13. But once I started for 5+ minutes, I had to turn that down pretty fast. Overall very happy with the machine

Surprising high quality, solid & effective!
I am new to rowing and didn’t want to spend $1,100 for a Concept gym-type unit for something that I might not enjoy. After researching all the brands on Amazon, big box stores and sporting equipment stores, I decided on this unit. It is solid enough to feel like professional quality but at a price point that is good for beginners. I found videos about it on YouTube, and am working my way up to using online rowing classes/apps. When I started using the machine , I was close to 300 lbs, so I wanted something sturdy, and this unit is solid and supports me without hesitation. Between it and my elliptical (and better eating habits), I’m down nearly 30 pounds, and it quickly reduces me to a puddle of sweat! You can feel it working your abs/core, back muscles, calves & quads, and shoulders for a full-body workout. Another thing I really like is that I have an arthritic knee and post-surgery for a torn meniscus, and this machine is low impact enough that it doesn’t hurt my knee…but just makes it (and everything else) tired after a good workout. I’m 5’10 with a 30” inseam and I have PLENTY of stride on this machine, but it doesn’t have a huge footprint or need much room to operate. The other reviews about how quiet the machine is are also true…it is almost silent when operating. The only thing I would like better is a fancier LCD/backlit monitor like my Horizon equipment…but honestly, this one tells me time, distance, count and calories burned, so it covers all the information one needs (is just a bit harder for me to read). If you are Chris Hemsworth or a WWE wrestler, you may need a gym-rated unit, but honestly, this one should fit the needs for the other 99.999% of us! I hope the review helps in making a purchase, and happy rowing!

Great affordable rower
Howdy folks, the TL;DR of it is, I’m really glad I bought this rower. I got it on sale for $312. Gives a great cardio workout, doesn’t take up much space, is quiet, was decently easy to put together, not too hard to move around, and seems of nice enough quality. It’s not fancy like what you’ll use at a nice gym, and unfortunately it does NOT give you rowing strokes. I would have been upset about that, but I use an app where I’m watching someone row and I can keep pace with their strokes. I wish the bar was a few inches longer and slightly curved down. I’m of average fitness and have used it 5 times on resistance level 3. This gives me ability to grow to the highest resistance (8). I live in a very small space with another person and it tucks away into the corner in the upright position. Yes it’s still a bulky piece of workout equipment and is visible but I don’t care because it’s important to me to keep fit. One thing to note is that where the bar you sit on joins with the main body, it flexes down when I’m at the beginning of the stroke (so when my knees are fully bent). It seems okay and like it won’t break, but I’m going to keep my eye on it. In my opinion, as someone who is financially prudent, doesn’t go to a gym but relies on free activities or apps to stay fit, and who wanted a rower for years, this was worth my dollars. Rowing is fun, you should try it!

Great product for the price
I've had this rower for a little over a week and have used it almost every day. Mine has been as quiet as I could possibly have hoped for at this price point. It is significantly quieter than my bike trainer which allows me to work out before the family gets up. Looking at the product in person, I don't really know how other's are getting a noise that a lubricant can't fix. Assembly was pretty straight forward with all required tools included as part of the kit. Some of the print is a bit small in the pictures but if you've ever put something together out of a box it shouldn't be too difficult. Just as the pictures show, it can easily be flipped on end and easily rolled or stored. It seems like it would be fairly stable in this position but if you store it on carpet and have kids or a dog you might consider a strap to hold it upright. The resistance levels give a really good range for your workout. I've only maintained at the 6 and 7 levels (out of 8) for my 30+ minute rows. The feet straps seem a little cheap but so far have held up well. They would be easy to replace with a new Velcro strap if they broke. My only complaint is the the display devise. It seems to significantly undercount calories as compared to my fitness app. By the time I hit 36 minutes and 500 calories on my fitness app, the display was only showing between 25-30% of that total. I hold a heartrate of about 165 beats per minute for most of my workout and being in pretty good shape leads me to think the real total is closer to what my app is showing. Add this to the fact that the timer is off by over 30 seconds at the end of my workout as compared to my app and I'm leaning towards the display not really providing good, accurate data. The only thing it seems to do well is the row count. Taken all together I'd say this rower is about as good as you could hope for at this price point. It's quite, easy to assemble, stores and moves easily if you need it to, and has a good resistance range that provides a smooth workout. The only let down is the digital display which, for me, doesn't change the functionality.

I really enjoy this machine! Good workout- very little noise.
I really like this machine! Assembly of this machine took a little effort. It wasn't difficult but the written instructions weren't necessarily easy to understand so I definitely watched the video. Also I couldn't find the video link anywhere so I just youtubed it. I also had a very small issue with 2 washers being labeled as one size, but not fitting the bolts they were for. It worked out, I just swapped them with other washers but it was a small QA thing that was a little annoying. Overall it came together in probably 20-25 min by myself. It feels fairly sturdy and well put together. I am by no means a rower professional. I was looking for something quiet that I could put in my living room and just do short burst workouts while I watch TV whenever I get the urge. This has really been fitting the bill for me! I'm 5'7, around 230 lbs and I have no problems fitting on it or getting a full range of motion. My husband is about 6' and also gets a full range of motion. I like that the feet have a little bit of motion to them so you can really get a full leg extension. The seat moves very smoothly and really makes it feel like you're on a boat or something. It is also incredibly quiet. It has some noise from just having a wheel turning but you can easily hear the TV over it. You could absolutely do this exercise while people are sleeping. I also feel like it has a good amount of tension! I have it on the lowest setting so I can do it longer while watching TV, but the highest setting would definitely tire me out quickly. It is a very full body workout! The first time I did it for about 30 minutes and the next day was sore all over! You especially feel it in your back and arms if you're not used to it. The additional phone stand is actually quite big too and sturdy so you could easily put a tablet on it to watch shows if you have this in a separate workout area! My biggest complaint with the system is that 1) The handle bars aren't very padded so I could see developing blisters if you do it a lot consecutively and 2) You have to be careful to really keep the bars centered in the middle when you pull or else you might get the chord off track. 3)The seat is not very padded- it's mostly comfortable but does start to get a little sore after a while (kind of like when sitting on bleachers) Overall my three "big" complaints are really pretty small. It requires no power so you can put it wherever, it folds up so you can store it, and is really quite fun for me. I love that you can go as easy or as hard as you want on it. I'm very happy with my purchase and if it gets me moving for 10-30 min a day then that's a win in my book! :)

Great Rowing Machine & Outstanding Customer Service
I spent quite a while researching and comparing rowing machines before deciding on this one, and overall I’m very happy with my purchase. The rowing machine itself works well, feels sturdy, and has become part of my regular workout routine. I especially like that it can be stored upright, which saves a lot of space. When my original machine arrived, there was a small damaged area on the casing that was disappointing to see. However, what truly impressed me was the seller’s customer service. They responded quickly, communicated professionally, and went above and beyond by arranging a brand new replacement. Problems can happen during shipping, but responsible and caring after-sales support makes all the difference. I really appreciate the effort and professionalism shown throughout the process. Overall, I’m satisfied with both the product and the customer service, and I would feel comfortable recommending this seller to others.

Who thought this was a good idea? Oh yeah, the wife.
Buy me a rower she said, so I did. Didn't take much to put together. Strongly suggest bringing a socket set to the party instead of the tools it comes with. (STRONGLY suggest) Anyway, it was easy to assemble and I was drinking when I did it (do not suggest at all, but hey, I make questionable decisions now and again). The electronics are simple to use for understanding your workout, it's not super loud, the seat rolls smoothly, and the knob to adjust your resistance varies from very light to not-useful-due-to-inability-to-reasonably-maintain-motion. Seriously, it's a rowing machine. As strong as I am if I can't keep it rowing, what's the point? It breaks its own momentum. At this price point though, fantastic tool and a pretty killer home workout that doesn't take up much space. The $1500 ones I use at the gym are better but they're also $1500.

Great machine at this price point
Easily assembled. Quiet and smooth. At my age (late 50s) a full body workout that's easy on the joints is ideal, and this rowing machine provides exactly what I was looking for. And I love that you can store it on end! The only thing close to negative for me personally is the seat. I just finished my first workout, and didn't last as long as I'd hoped because of the seat. I've read where others have purchased a gel pad, so I'll be hunting one of those down.

Terrific and Inexpensive Rower
I did loads of research to find this rower. I looked at quite a few of the super expensive ones, but did not want to pay a monthly fee for the classes those other brands offer. Also, I am new to rowing so I didn't want to put a lot of money into this in case I didn't like it. I'm just under 5' and this is just a tiny bit too big for my legs to get to the completely perpendicular position at the start of the stroke, so I pulled out the pin that stops the seat, added a tiny bit of padding to the joint further up, and it works great now. (I'm making that point specifically for other shorties out there). It's quiet and easy to move and was very simple to put together. The screen isn't all that fancy, but it counts time and distance just fine (and some other things like calories, etc.) If you are interested in rowing, especially if you don't have a lot of space, this is a really good item. I've already recommended it, in person, to someone else.

not perfect, but pretty good
Got this yesterday and tried it today with the following thoughts. Pros: 1. great workmanship. the machine is pretty well built. can't say about the electronic parts as it's only been two days, but otherwise the machine is very solid. 2. very compact and lightweight. I live in apartment. so this is very important. 3. quiet. at the normal speed around 22-26 strokes, the foot pedal makes louder noise than the big wheel. 4. great app and hardware integration. I downloaded the app and pair it with my iphone and apple watch all together. now I can use watch as real time heartbeat sensor, iphone front camera as optical sensor and display everything on the phone screen. It's extremely help to see the data to make sure I can maintain target heart rate and good stroke speed during the entire workout. it would be perfect if the app can support watch with ipad, but that's not machine's issue. Cons: 1. installation. video only is outdated with the first set of screw installation being completely different from what's in the paper manual. Same goes for the parts and part numbers as they changed. In the manual, some minor mistakes on how the flat washer and spring washer should be stacked. one place said it correctly, then the others said it differently which was wrong. 2. not enough resistance. I am not a big strong guy(5'9", 158lbs), but I am starting all the way with 16 the max. It's good enough for cardio fat lost and endurance I believe, but not good enough for strength. 3. I bought the more expensive 02-magnetic pro version, but at the front of the wheel, it's missing a pad at the front which gives it two options to store the machine. With the pad, I can store the machine upright without having to folder it which actually uses less space than folding it. The cheaper 01-magnetic rower does have that.

No tiene Bluetooth
Buena máquina en general. Cumple su propósito. Sin embargo, no tiene Bluetooth como lo hacen ver en las fotografías. Eso impide que te puedas conectar correctamente con varias aplicaciones.
