Product description Plush Paws is dedicated to enhancing the lives of dog owners everywhere by providing high-quality automotive pet products Review: Great Cargo Liner for 2017 Subaru Outback - I purchased the XL Plush Paws Waterproof Cargo Liner to use in a 2017 Subaru Outback. It is recommended for full size SUVs like the Chevy Suburban; however, I found it to be the best cargo liner available for the Outback both in dimensions and quality. I keep the back row of seats in the Outback in the folded down position all of the time. This gives both, my large German Shepherd and pug, plenty of room to be comfortable in the vehicle while traveling together. With the back seats folded down, the liner can be attached to the front seats to protect the entire area of the cargo hold, including the backside of the front seats. This liner has ample material to compensate for a difference in the forward position of the two front seats if the seats are positioned differently. The liner used in this manner also creates a space behind the front seat under the cargo liner to place items to keep them protected from fur and dirt. Also, the liner used in this manner creates a barrier that keeps my dogs from trying to climb between the two front seats to sit in the front. This XL liner is long for the Outback, but the liner can be placed and adjusted so that the bumper flap is correctly positioned allowing it to be unfolded to protect the bumper and then folded back up as needed. There is extra material that falls into the slot between the back of the front seats and the folded down rear seatbacks, I do not find this to be inconvenient and use this space for loose items that are better kept from rolling around. The liner is well made. It is soft and comfortable. The non-slip backing works well keeping the liner in place in the cargo bed. My dogs have had no problem with slipping around in the cargo hold. The sides of the liner that run the length of the Outbacks cargo hold did not stay up along the sides, but this was easily remedied by the use of 4 velcro strips: one on each of the cargo hold sides near the rear hatch and one on each side of the cargo hold just anterior tot he wheel well. If occasionally, I need to use the back seats by raising the seat backs, the cargo hold will obviously be shorter. During these occasions, I have found that I can fold the resultant redundant liner material out of the way underneath the main body of the liner. This is the best liner that I have found for my 2017 Subaru Outback. It protects the cargo hold from fur, dirt, water, and scratches, and gives good coverage of surfaces. Review: Stands up to big hairy dogs, injured skunks!, trash, garden supplies & fits 2023 Toyota Venza - Got a new car with black interior. We have a large, high-shedding white Great Pyrenees mix dog, and this is our "everything" car, used for trips, weekly runs to the "dump" with trash, recycling & compost; transporting donations for a soup kitchen & pantry; and garden/home center runs. I also do transports of injured/sick/orphaned wildlife between rehabbers, vets & animal control. This could mean a 3 hour drive with a half dozen orphaned baby raccoons one day, and a skunk with a broken leg or a goose recovering from a dog attack the next. This is the nicest car I've ever had, and I expect to have it for 10-15 years, so I want to keep it nice for as long as possible, and needed a really good, easily cleaned seat/cargo cover help me do that. I looked at many here, and the various online & chain pet supply stores before choosing this one, and I'm very pleased with it. It's a perfect fit in my 2023 Venza, with just the right amount of excess length to cover the bumper when extended, folding under without bunching up when the hatch is closed. I traded a 2016 Mazda CX-5 for the Venza, and though it had a slightly wider & longer cargo area, I think it would fit the Mazda CX5 very well, too. Being able to unzip the seat sections individually from the bottom & each other is super useful. This allows you to fold down all or just parts of the rear seat, as needed. You can even unzip and/or remove the center section, which is great if you want a "pass thru" for a ling item like skis or lumber, or so passeners in the outer seats can easily interact with your dog in the cargo area. Since our dog can't jump in & out of the car, I leave 1 side unfolded, using a step to help her in & onto the floor, and then she uses the upright seat as another step from there to the folded, covered seat to get into the cargo area. I then stow her step on the upright seat, attach her harness safety tether to the seat belt buckle in the middle seat and off we go, easy-peasy. Since it's water proof, cleans easily & dries quickly, she can drink water from her travel bowl & eat while were traveling, and we have no worries about hauling messy garden stuff, compost, trash cans etc., or any odors & messes from my wild creature passengers. With this cargo/seat cover, all her "magical tufts of love", loose dirt, mulch, etc., doesn't get embedded in the carpet & seat crevices. After a trip, we give it a shake, wipe messes with a damp cloth and it's ready for the next trip. Sliding bags & boxes of groceries & food pantry items is much easier in this fabric vs the carpet & mats, too. No more ripped bags, etc. and if something spills or leaks, like meats or milk, clean up is easy. Being able to leave a seat up is also helpful when travel with the dog, as sometimes someone else comes along and sits in the back. I tried it flipped around to cover the front of the rear seat, folding the excess under the front edge of the floor mat to hold it in place, as we had both the dog + stuff in the cargo area. Worked great that way, too. It's a really versatile design, and very well made. The fabric is thick & sturdy, nicely finished, and the zippers, edges & straps are extremely well attached. The zippers seem sturdy & strong to last a long time & work smoothly. And there weren't any loose threads or stiches anywhere, nor were there any odors when I removed it from the package. The package is a thick, clear reclosable plastic pouch that easily fits into the seatback pockets, so if you don't want to keep the cargo cover in place all the time, you can store it in the pouch in a seatback pocket easily. Definitely wish I'd had this with my previous cars & dogs. Use to take an entire day, several times a year, with a shampooer, vacuum & detailing tools to get my cars cleaned up after hauling dogs/plants/kids/trash/groceries, and my seats always got a few scratches, scuffs or tears over time.

We Have Seen Similar Quality Liners Go For Three Times The Price
We use our Yukon XL when rescuing Irish Wolfhounds. These lovely and majestic dogs are usually extremely stressed out and in bad shape either mentally or physically. They have often relieved themselves (both ways) in the back of our SUV, so we needed to find an effective solution to keep them from ruining our vehicle. First we ordered a WeatherTech mat for the rear compartment but then added this Plush Paws Waterproof Cargo Liner to the mix. Now we have double protection, can easily clean up after our hounds, and provide them a comfortable space when they finally (if ever) settle down. The funny thing is that when an IWH relieves himself/herself in the back of the Yukon, the first thing they want to do is to escape their own waste. Imagine having a 200 lb dog crawling over the back seat to rest his/her head on your headrest. Then comes the drool and the extra long tongue slobbering up your face. You gotta love these dogs! So we have found this particular Plush Paws Cargo Liner indispensable in our rescues. It fits well and protects the floor and sides, is waterproof, padded, and easy to clean. You can leave the flap open in the middle (see product picture) to avoid blocking the rear air conditioning vents and the bottom of the liner is designed to keep it from sliding around. It is also very durable. You can imagine the force that a stressed out 200 lb dog can generate with their claws. Yes, it is one of the more expensive models out there but my father taught me a long time ago that "if you buy cheap, you buy often". In the long run inferior products can cost you more than buying one quality product initially. This is also a great product to use when going to a home improvement center to protect your interior against chemicals, dirt, fertilizer, and plants. Or load up lumber or other heavy construction materials you need to take home. Carry hay and feed for your horses, etc. You can't go wrong.

Great product. Could use slight improvements or options.
The product is amazing. Have the XL version and fits a '14 4runner perfectly when the middle row is put down. This allows the dog to have the whole back area. When it middle row is up and it's just being used in the cargo area it is definitely too much -- but it's better having more than not enough. The rubber on the bottom of the mat is great for keeping it from sliding around. It is also somewhat padded which is a great touch. The bumper flap is great for saving scuffs on the bumper. I took one star away because there could be a couple improvements. Number 1 is the straps that hold the clips are too easy to loosen/tighen so they have a hard time staying tight. Number 2 is the slippery material of the top of the liner. It's good for being water proof, but my dog (100 lbs) slips and slides around pretty easily on it. It also is somewhat noisy when he's moving around back there. Maybe having the option to sub a different top material instead of the waterproof stuff would be a good idea. Since some dogs may have accidents more than others. Overall great product and I doubt you can find better out there for the price.

Great quality, size L fits 2016 GMC Acadia / newer Chevy Traverse perfectly
Size: I bought both the XL and the L to compare since it wasn't clear which would fit better. The clear result was that for the 2016 GMC Acadia (which is the twin car for Chevy Traverse), size L was the way to go. With the 3rd row laid down, the liner hooked to the back of the 2nd row headrests, ran across the cargo area, and covers the bumper down several inches, enough for dog claws as they jump in & out. On the sides, it reaches a couple inches up along the left and right sides. When I had tried the XL size, the length was SO long that it ran all the way past the bumper, all the way to the ground with 3 extra inches to spare. Not that bad except when you consider that when it's closed, there's SO much extra material all bunched up. Whereas with the L size, there's a split and a seam that hits just the right spot at the back and you can flip the extra length over on itself and it lays neat and flat. If you're a neat freak you will appreciate that it lays flat lol. Great quality and it lays just right. Despite some other reviewers' photos showing that the straps (made to hook onto the headrests to protect the back of the seats) are actually showing, you can tuck them underneath the headrest to hide them, and you will not see them at all from the 1st and 2nd row seating. The underside has little friction bumps to hold it in place from sliding around so it will stay in position. There are also 2 middle zippers so that, whether your 2nd row is bucket seats or a bench, you can zip it up or down to split it. I have 2nd row bucket seats and it's actually great both ways: Unzipped, it's a clean look because it maintains the contour of the view in the back, and zipped up it provides a barrier to keep all the dog hair in the back area. I did a LOT of browsing and comparing before buying this one, and it is definitely the right decision. Don't buy one of those ones with little suction cups to hold it up against the glass. No need!! This one is fantastic.

We take them hiking and swimming and they get dirty. In addition
We bought this based on the many positive reviews. We have a 2017 Toyota 4Runner and bough the XL so that it would attach to the front seats and extend all the way through the cargo area. We have 2 Siberian Huskies. We take them hiking and swimming and they get dirty. In addition, hair containment is always upmost in our minds. After the maiden voyage where we did hiking in red dirt, swimming and 2 hours of travel, we were very pleased. First, it stays in place as advertized. I'm not too sure how well the "sticky" nubs on the back would last in the extreme heat of a Phoenix summer, but we plan on removing it after the trips are over. Size XL is perfect for the 4Runner. The flap covers the bumper, which saves if from the claw marks and protects it as the dogs hop in. My husband mentioned how much he liked this feature, and I agree; bumper coverage is a must. The extra room on the sides is also nice as it contains the fur and keeps the car cleaner than any other cover we've bought. The material is sturdy and seems to hold up well. In addition, it is plush and the huskies were very comfortable on the drive. We have spent more on cheaper covers that didn't last, didn't cover and were total wastes of money. If only we'd bought this first! One of the best purchases ever for traveling with our overly fuzzy, and frequently dirty dogs.

Excellent product
I have a 2010 Ford Explorer, but I bought the XL version to get more width that I could use "up the sides," which worked out very well. The item is ruggedly constructed, with quality nylon fabric on the "top" and a good, non-slip backing that helps keep it in place on the carpeted interior. My two dogs shed like there's no tomorrow, but the product does not allow hair/fur to go through and get onto the carpeted interior the way a sheet or thin bedspread has in the past. The straps fit around the headrests easily, though the buckles do not keep the strap from loosening, allowing the liner to sag behind the front seats a bit. Maybe I do not have the straps run properly through the buckles, though I have tried several different orientations and none have worked. The center panel is zipped, as you can see in the picture, which allows my dog to put her head and front paws onto the center console, which she likes to do when she lays down, so I really like that feature. The water bowl spilled, but the liner repelled the water and I had no dampness in the truck - another major plus. Overall, I really, really like this product. Glad I bought it.

Classy!
I purchased this Cargo Liner along with the matching Hammock/seat cover. We travel with 2 Golden Retreivers who fall asleep the moment the car is turned on. The 10 year old dog is not fullly accepting the 9 month old puppy at this time. The puppy moves too fast for her. So when we travel 18 hours to Vermont we thought it best to separate them. One dog in the hammock and the other in the cargo area. During our practice rides both dogs were hesitatant of the hammock but now they both love it—one at a time😊 I am delighted at how easy it is to vacuum the hair off. Muddy paw prints wipe off with a washcloth. The straps around the head rests are easy to un-clip to access the luggage stored on the floor and to lower the hammock to let the old girl out. The Cargo Pet liner is wide enough in the 2017 Explorer to go up the side about 6 inches which helps to protect the sides from dog nail scratches, luggage scrapes, etc. When the puppy matures we will be able to lower all the seats so the cargo area will be one big dog space. I will then use the Hammock/car seat cover overlapping the cargo liner to completely cover the back. The added seat leashes are a nice option but for us not needed as the dogs seriously go comatose when the engine starts. If some one has hyper dogs they will be useful. I have to add that the design and quality is noticeable the moment you open the package. They almost match the camel leather seats and look classy. If I am going to have hair flying around the car I at least want it to look nice 😂

All the dog mess stays on the cover and not in my car
It covers the whole back of my SUV works great. I only wish I would’ve bought a darker color.

Perfect Fit!
First off, it appears they have the wrong picture with this product. It IS a vehicle cargo liner for pets, NOT a barbell pad! I purchased this to fit in the cargo area of a 2018 Kia Sorrento. It fits as though it was custom made for our vehicle! Nice heavy material and doesn't move around in the back. Perfect!

Thé best one
Don’t look elsewhere. It truly is the best. I did not want my dog to slip. The anti slip dots are great. The material is truly high quality. The length. Nice and long even though I have a small car. Others did not extend over my bumper. Love this item.
