Cracking Digital VLSI Verification Interview: Interview Success

Really great book for vlsi verification folks considering its low price. It divides the whole domain into several topics like digital design, computer architecture, verification methodology etc so that you can pick up whichever topics you feel weak in. Personally, I found UVM and SV topics really helpful as you don't so many questions anywhere else. For beginners, there is also a do-it-yourself project section with this book which i believe is really handy for getting up to speed in UVM and SV given the open source tools (like eda playground) available now.

Nice book. Can have more tough questions for higher level of interviews. But best for candidate having below 5 year experince.Interview queations happens at this level are all covered by this book.I finished reading this in 2 days.

A very well written comprehensive book on Digital VLSI interview questions. I was just expecting some question and answers in the book. But was taken aback as it not only prepares you for the interview but also talks about career growth in the Si industry, sharing thoughts and latest trends in what an interviewer looks for in candidates. The best book to get u prepared for a interview in and out.

The book is really good and covers all the necessary topics for Design/Verification job preparation. I've completed reading 20% of the book and chapter I found most interesting till now is Computer Organization (Explanation about Cache). Unique thing about the book is, what a student or experienced person need to know to get VLSI Design/Verification job is described from the perspective of leading verification experts. Also questions addressed are really good and clearly explained.

Excellent book and one stop solution for cracking ASIC / Soc verification interviews . Great effort by author , I heart fully thank Mr. Ramdas sir and Robin Garg .If STatic timing analysis basic questions and problems are added it will be really greatful .By : vaseem

Book is good for quick interview prep and has 500+ questions which would be sufficient enough to get the idea of this industry

nice explanation about different topics. gives u overall picture which is required for interview. may be some more problems in different topics required to understand better

I’m happy to have found this book and I’m really pleased with the quality of the content, I am glad to have bought it. It has given me indeed a very good overview of the knowledge a verification engineer should have, it helped me go over and give me motivation to practice a bit the various topics that maybe I don’t use day by day but I need to have a good knowledge of in general. I would definitely recommend this to engineers who want to work in verification, and junior/mid-senior engineers as well.

Kudos to the authors for coming up with this amazing book, would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a job in semiconductor
