I was surprised that this comes triple wrapped, there is more than enough to do (2) 10-inch filters with plenty left over, I also got one of those resin packing kits, and so the resin seems to be doing it's job, as long as the resin is packed in tight, you won't be replacing it after 5 or 6 uses as I am using this to rinse down my trucks.

Been refilling my aquarium water cartridges with this. It works really well and have saved quite a bit already. Doesn't seem to last as long as the OeM media, but damn good for the cost to lose a few gallons between swaps.

If you own an RODI unit, first make sure you have a canister on it to do refills. Second, use this DI media for replacement refills. Easy use, color changes to let you know when it needs replacing. WAY cheaper and convenient than purchasing a new cartridge each time. Just remember, save the filter pads inside your existing cartridge.

TDS after 5 minuets of run it was at 0 TDS will buy again

Item arrived as expected and very well packaged. Although it seems to me that the beads are a little finer than what I am used to with my regular brand. My TDS is back to zero but seems as if the resin is being used faster as well.

My cartridges last me just 1 season before they turn brown. As you might know, they aren't exactly cheap, but when you can buy a bag this size for this price, suddenly it's quite affordable. I don't know how many refills I'll get out of this bag but I won't be buying any more cartridges ever and won't need another bag for 10 years! To keep it good I only clipped a corner, rolled it up tight, used a vacuum pump to suck the air out taped and clamped the corner shut. Then I keep it in the bottom drawer of the fridge. Being a single guy, it's not like I have much else to use it for.

The last 5 pound bag of resin I bought from another company and it seems like the resin went bad after 8 months of storage. This one is fine, it dropped my 15 TDS water to Zero with no problems and so far the canister is being used up fairly slowly. Just a warning, the bags on these things never seem to seal properly once they are opened. That is what killed my last bag. Once the Anions and Cations in the resin are exposed to humidity for to long they just stop working. So my advice is buy a high quality reusabele Vacuum seal bag and put the resin bag in it and vacuum out the air. If you have lots of shelf space you can buy a properly sealed airtight Jar and pour it into that. Just do not depend on the Ziplock type seal that comes with these 5 pound bags.

I was surprised by the number of layers of vacuum packed layers this came in. It seems to do what it says it does. Pretty hard to handle/pour into the RO tube it goes in to but that is the nature of the product. Update: After using this product I have found that it does not last very long. After about 25 - 30 gallons the item begins to have a very strong odour. The colour change happens after abouut 20 - 25 gallons. This is in the Aquatic Life RO Buddie Four Stage Reverse Osmosis System. When I originally purchased it this was not intollerable. SInce then the price has more than doubled which makes this an extremely poor investment.
