I’m giving these rods a 5 because they work exactly as they should. . I didn’t feel that I should deduct a star because the problem I had was so easily rectified. The ends of the poles that actually grip the wall are made of hard plastic when they should be rubber. So I ordered 3/4 inch chair leg protectors and problem solved. The rubber holds the rods in place perfectly. I use them to hold a curtain in a skylight window to block the direct sunlight. The rods hold the tension well so the curtains stay in place. I highly recommend this product and if you find they slip just put the rubber feet on them. For the price they are well worth it.

Liked the ease of use and adjustability. Great tension and hold. Very sturdy. Great value for the price. I ordered white and the white color was as pictured. This smaller size is hard to find and worked well for my mini curtain.

This is a decent curtain rod, with simple, workable directions. Expanded it with just the right amounts of spring action.

Didn’t love these tension rods. I measured out a window in our home and purchased accordingly. I was try to avoid drill holes into the walls for a curtain rod in a guest bedroom. The smallest size was too small to fit it, and the extender piece then made it too large somehow. There was hardly any tension and we ended up having to drill holes.
