Taza Chocolate Organic Amaze Bar 95% Stone Ground, Wicked Dark with Almonds, 2.5 Ounce (6 Count), Vegan

I’ve been ordering this chocolate for months and it’s amazing and such a unique flavor. It is always packed with some sort of dry ice . It has always been perfect. Well I like it Florida and right now the weather is brutal. I’ve been wondering if it would eventually arrive melted and it did this time. So I put it in the fridge and it got hard again but its color, texture and taste were altered slightly. My daughter is a chocolatier and I know from her experience that the coca butter was melted and then it returns to a less stable state. It’s not spoiled or moldy or bad . In fact it’s a totally unique flavor. So if this happens to you, I would recommend keeping it and breaking it into chunks and enjoy it. It was a little tricky with the packaging but it’s still worth keeping. The company does a great job of protecting it as best as possible.

I LOVE this chocolate. It is hard to find a high percentage dark chocolate that is not sickly sweet. Taza is relatively low sugar so the taste of the chocolate comes through - delicious. I have a small rectangle every morning with coffee - so good.

At first I didn't care for the grittiness of this chocolate but got through the first batch just fine. When I went back to the Ghirardelli smooth variety of chocolate I came to realize that it doesn't do it for me any more. That smooth cocoa butter sensation in other chocolates now feels way over the top. I have half of one of these bars a day and the dry gritty sensation is now something I consider a positive part of the experience.

I love the flavor and texture of Taza. Amazing quality chocolate.

It's so down to personal taste - my very favorite basic chocolate bar is Lindt 85%, and I enjoy their 90% as well. This Taza 95% is just too dark for me. Tastes a little bit (to me) like eating dirt. My friend did like them all right so I gave them to him. It's a great value, though!

I love everything about this: the flavor, the texture! It's my "go to" for chocolate.

Very bitter, can't eat it as is. I'm going to try to melt it with a bit of allulose, maybe it'll help to improve taste. The chocolate arrived in the box with melted ice pack, but the chocolate didn't melt, looked and smell good. I guess the bitter taste to be expected with 95% dark chocolate. Unfortunately, I'm not able to tolerate the taste.

Well the quality is excellent but a bit too strong for my taste, I melted it and added a bit of honey and lots of Almond to it and now it’s great.

great quality chocolate, according to consumer reports test taza was low in both cadmium and lead, which is a primary reason I chose this brand.

I am getting used to the no sugar chocolate. Each time I have a square, it gets better. I am encouraged by that as I want to cut as much sugar as possible from my diet.
