I bought this for my Audio Technica AT-4033 microphone as the elastic bands from its original shock mount had lost all of their ability to hold the mic upright. I was a bit concerned that it might not fit because this microphone is an XLR, not USB -powered mic and, as such, is slightly thicker (only by a millimeter or 2, but still thicker) than the microphones that most of these universal shock mounts are designed for. But, because of its expandable clips that allow the cylinder to open and close, I was able to get it in there without much trouble. And, because the spring tension on those is so strong, it really holds the mic very firmly in place so I have no fears about mounting it upside down as is my preferred position to use it in while it's in the boom stand. The pop filter is also a nice addition, although, if push comes to shove, I probably prefer the kind that attaches to the mount itself, not the microphone, and holds the filter a bit farther from the diaphragm than this one does. But on the other hand, those can be awkward to adjust and can get in the way, so this probably will work fine and certainly looks neat and tidy. I also liked the fact that this shock mount is made of metal instead of plastic, except for the part where it screws on to arm of the boom stand which is plastic with a metal insert.All in all, it does the job it's intended to do well, fits my slightly thicker mic, seems solid, and is reasonably priced. Definitely a great value for the money.

This is a pretty good bundle/deal for all of these items, they were easy to install and works perfectly with my AT-2020. I might say the mount is pretty easy to use and the size is pretty reasonable and fits pretty good with my setup.Shock mount: It is incredibly good for the price point, I don't notice any interference with sound when I bang on my desk or try to cause any vibrations that my microphone would've picked up had I not put the mount on. It is a bit heavy but again, it's a pretty solid mountPop filter: I would've had this at 5 stars but the pop filter is lacking a bit. I could still notice interference when I say stuff like "Pop" or "Bro," basically, any B or P sounds BUT it does cut out of the majority of the noise. On this filters defense, I'm pretty sure this isn't the most efficient form factor of a pop filter. I think it is recommended to buy one of those where it's like a circular screen in front of the microphone. But all in all, decent filter.This whole deal is pretty worth it if you're looking for a good mount and a decent filter. I would recommend this to a friend.

I was motivated to buy a new shock mount because I have an AT4040 and found that it was a major hassle moving it from my vocal mic stand to an angled desktop stand I use for recording acoustic guitar because I only have one mic. Anyone who has used the native AT4040's shock mount can attest to the fact that getting it in and out of the mount with any regularity quickly becomes an exercise in frustration.I'll give you both the good and bad.I do suspect that over time, inserting and removing my mic from the mounting clamp will result in cosmetic wear and scratches to its coated black finish. I certainly wouldn't put a thousand dollar mic in there for that reason. The AT4040 is low-mid range in price and I will likely never sell it. Even the native mount leaves some wear on the body. I treat all my music equipment as a working tool and eventually, they will show signs of use. I personally love it when great guitarists play instruments covered in well earned scars but felt this should be noted in case that's important to you.Also, I suspect the isolation properties of the AT4040's native mount's additional rubber band suspension WITHIN the outer shock mount adds additional isolation not offered by this cheaper mount. However, at least so far, it just doesn't seem to have impacted me. I guess I just don't make a great deal of contact with the mic stands I use.I can't speak to durability. Frankly, given the price, I would be shocked if it lasted for more than a year or so, but if you aren't hard on your stuff and you handle things gently, I suspect this will do fine for some time. The one area that I think may be weak is the angled wing fastener which just doesn't seem to tighten as much as I'd want before reaching its maximum torqued position. If anything gives over time, it will likely be that connection.What I really love with this item is the pinch-and-release mechanism because it's so much easier to use than the AT4040's native isolation mount which is deeply gripped by rubber bands that are difficult to reinsert back into. No question, the native one is also made of slightly higher quality materials but it isn't really designed for that kind of regular in-out access.I like that for such a low price - about the same as a cocktail or a bottle of wine - I also get a pop filter which seems to be working for me. I used to use a much larger circular flexi-arm-mounted pop-filter and just found it so distracting and 'in my face'. It would also need constant adjusting as it would droop over time. I much prefer the compact nature of the mic mounted one that comes with this kit.In the end, I bought a second so that both my mic stands use this mount and I can very quickly move between the two.FINAL IMPORTANT WARNING for AT4040 Owners:If you have an AT4040 remember that there are a couple of raised switches (for engaging dB attenuation and high pass filter) at the bottom of the back of the microphone. You may want to make sure you seat the mic deep enough into the clamp so that the slightly raised switches are BELOW the bottom of the clamp to ensure it doesn't put unnecessary pressure on those switches. That said, it means a wider part of the mic will be in the midst of the clamp which means more pressure on the body. To alleviate this I stretched the clips out to a wide position to try and lesson the tension on the mic I was putting in it. (The AT4040 is definitely at the upper range of this mounts capacity.)

I bought this to use with my new AT2020 condenser mic, and after two days of testing, I’m really pleased with it. All of the materials are high-quality, and the vibration dampening is better than I expected for the price. The squeeze-spring clamp is solid, as well as the angle adapter wing-nut clamp. I used this upright for vocals, and despite my habit of tapping my foot, it provided good vibration cancelling. I also used it angled, and the adjust emend screw held things in place without any drooping. The AT2020 (and the AT2035) are on the heavier side, and this performs well. The windscreen/pop filter is better than average, and is easy to attach/remove. The inclusion of the two spare rubber bands is also appreciated. *as extra protection, I added a foam ‘over the mic’ pop filter to the package, and I can do close proximity vocals straight on, with no plosives or sibilance. Overall, this is a well-made duo, and is a good value.

This is a perfect example of what I call, "50% percent Chinese Engineering". Meaning, they took a good idea but didn't put enough thought into the actual design.For example on this unit: The mic shock-mount itself is just fine and works great. However, the "pop-screen" that comes with it is totally USELESS - if you use it as shown in product photos and instructions. Thankfully there's a quick fix.In order for a pop-screen to do it's job there has to be a gap between the screen itself and the microphone. The gap allows for the "plosives" caused by the speaking the letter "P" or other phrases that create a micro-burst of air from our mouths, to physically dissipate.The way this screen is designed, it's resting up against the microphone itself - with NO gap, making the screen useless. Here's the fix, as shown in photos...Do not wrap the built-in rubber bands around the mic, instead put them on the OUTSIDE of the mic itself, and use a simple household rubber-band to hold it onto the mic. Now the screen has just enough distance to allow for plosives to dissipate before they hit the outer mic-screen. Problem solved.If it wasn't for this lack of good engineering I'd give this unit 5 stars, but it's just another example of how the Chinese rush to make a cheap product without truly considering how to make it *properly*.

Where can I begin? The shock mount feels super sturdy and well built, the screen feels smooth and can take some stress. I use this kit on either my Audio Technica AT-2020 Condenser Microphone or my MXL V69 Mogami Edition Tube condenser microphone and all I have to do is squeeze and slip. The shock mount doesn’t give due to weigh and the screen sure works amazing alongside a pop filter or even the screen alone because it has a metallic outer layer and a soft cushion material on the inside, working as a screen and air/ wind filter. I recommend this product for pro audio engineers looking for a shock mount that can be used with a good range of mics and those who don’t own a pop filter but instead of buying separate can get 2 for the price of 1!

My scarlett studio mic would slide out, granted I have it upside down. Just wished the bands were a little tighter but nothing a little double sided tape can't fix. Would definitely recommend.

Works well, almost worth the money. 3 stars for performance instead of 5 due to the lack of adjustability. My microphone is quite stubby and barely fits into the mount which I’m not happy with. It looks and feels sturdy which is a nice touch.The pop filter is decent enough quality to help with the clarity of my voice and has a nice bonus of helping to isolate my voice from background noise. Although once again it barely fits onto my microphone.The clamps you push down to adjust the mount are stiff and badly shaped which makes them painful to push down after a while

Compared to the cheap, all-plastic failures common in this range, this mount is a well worth it: the entire shock mount assembly is metal, providing a dense, reliable platform for excellent vibration isolation. I verified this with a magnet; the construction is genuinely solid. Furthermore, the microphone is securely gripped by a heavy-duty, internal rubber-lined spring pincher mechanism that ensures it won't slip.However, two minor disappointments are worth noting, though they don't detract from the core value:Pop Filter: The included microphone pop cover is cheap plastic and has an odd chemical odor. While functional, it feels like a low-quality component attached to an otherwise premium assembly.Angle Lock: The butterfly screw used to secure the mount's angle against the stand connection is under-engineered. For heavier condenser microphones, you must crank down excessively to prevent slippage, risking the screw housing cracking. This issue could be entirely resolved by the manufacturer simply including an expanding washer to increase friction. Users with heavier mics should plan on a minor modification (like adding that washer) to avoid constant re-tightening or breakage.Despite these small flaws, the core product's durability and robust metal construction make it a great value and highly recommended over similar-priced competitors.

Paid 4k for this Mount. Definitely not worth it. The body is very stern and hardly reduces vibrations. There was no return policy when I purchased this. Ideal one should pay 300 rupees for this. Not sure what I was thinking when I made the purchase.

Apart from the pop filter that I can't fit on (probably because I am stupid) it is very good.

I was excited to get this for my microphone. It works very well and the pop screen really helps. It is definitely worth the money.
