At the time of ordering these were the best value for money available on Amazon based on how many you get and the IU value. Vit D levels are generally low in the UK so was recommended by a doctor to take it daily after being put on 25000 IU tablets for a couple of weeks! They’re small, have hardly any flavour and are easy to swallow. Just make sure you drink a full glass of water

Vitamin D is very important for a healthy immune system, especially during the winter months when Vitamin D, provided by sunlight, is in short supply. I went for the High Strength 4000 IU Vitamin D3 as you can't really overdose on this vitamin. 500 tablets last my husband and I around 9 months before another bottle is required. This is not a problem as these are good value for money. Vitamin D is not a miracle cure but it is essential for a healthy lifestyle. The tablets are small and easy to swallow which is especially relevant for older people.
