Good value for money and perfect for the home first aid kit

I got these to see if they would be more convenient for wrapping horse hooves for injuries/abscesses/etc. Most tack stores just sell very large rolls of cotton that are hard to cut down for small applications. I just needed padding to cover heels, coronary bands, and partway up the pastern to prevent rubs. While these are not very thick, they have worked perfectly. I’ve had to wrap my horse’s feet up to halfway up the pastern for the last couple of weeks due to foot soreness (using magic cushion on the soles) She’s wearing hoof boots to protect her wraps and hooves right now, and she’s on field board so she’s in them 24/7 until her feet get better. But her hoof boots have caused terrible, infected heel rubs in the past after wearing them just 48 hours. Using thick cotton makes the boots too tight. This cotton, however, has been easy to apply to the just the areas I need, and with some vetwrap and ekon over too, the boots still fit. It’s perfect pad the heels, and make it so the boots aren’t too tight but also, not too loose where they shift around. It’s been two weeks and a ton of bad fooong due to weather. She’s just now showing some signs of heel rubs, but I think it’s mostly due to the magic cushion squishing up onto her heels, and I can’t get it all off. This cotton has been perfect for padding her sensitive areas of her feet and pastern without too much bulk. Great to have on hand. Ordering my second batch right now!

Nice and soft. I'd hoped they might be a bit "fluffier" to better pad, but they work. We're using to pad a dog's front elbows that developed sores from lying on concrete.

Although this item is non returnable, Amazon did offer a full refund. The product I received did not match item description. It's not all cotton.

Again this cast padding was too thin to be very useful. It also tore as you were putting it on and you need to use twice as much as the padding i had been using. Not a good value at all or very user friendly when it tears constantly
