Processor treating me well
The CPU is great I ended up buying the Ryzen 5600g because I had to wait like 5 months without a GPU and it played some games completely fine and if you only play low end games like Roblox and Minecraft it will have no problems, now that I have bought a GPU it runs even more games that I've never been able to play, also this is very cheap now which is crazy because of how good it is for a tight budget .

Its good value, performs well!
If you don't mind PCIE gen 3 (AM4) as a limiting factor having the onboard GPU is a no brainer. performs well, overclocks to 4.4ghz, is low power (65w) comes with wraith fan which is so quiet. I run it on an iatx m/b in a thermaltake tower. i'm not a gamer but apparently it's OK and runs Radeon graphics. not os much cutting edge but dependable.

A nice surprise for the purchase! Great for gaming
Maybe the supplier had issues with the 5600G stock, but I had a pleasant surprise when opening up my purchase, as the 5600G actually was the best mid-range CPU the 5600X! Although the Wraith Cooler was a nightmare to install onto the motherboard, the rest of the setup was painless, and I'm already seeing large gains in framerates when playing titles such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak when coupled with the 5700 XT GPU. A much-needed upgrade over the previous Ryzen 5 2600! Pros: - Easy to slot in to the motherboard - Around 300-800MHz boost in Game Mode - Massive improvement in performance compared to the 2600 prior and a compatible Radeon card, with similar results potential with an NVIDIA card Cons: - Fiddly Wraith cooler installation - No iGPU, but the crossfire gains would be minimal in comparison - Probably won't be as fortunate the next time if I order a spare!

Good value, especially when Amazon do a price drop
buy new, and don't entertain getting one of these from an online auction house. That's the moral of my story guys - I was looking for a lower cost PC after my previous one went Pop! Decided to do a self build for a project, and this CPU has worked just fine with me. I haven't really pushed the limits of the PC, but if you want reasonable performce from an AM4 chip, this isn't a bad shout.

Quite the little upgrade
I upgraded my dads PC by going from a 10th gen Intel 10600 and found, despite no changes to components beyond MOBO and CPU, boot up time to log in screen is near or less than 15 seconds whereas the intel would take nearer to a minute or on a couple of occasions more than. Ultimately, this could be considered more of a sideways step but as his computing needs aren't intensive I wanted a robust, yet efficient, set up that would let him play a basic game or two at 1080p without lagging or needing a dedicated GPU. Overall he's very happy, and I'm genuinely shocked by how good the combo turned out as all I changed was the CPU & MOBO, yet saw a genuine performance upgrade...

Great AIO
I was building a sub £500 PC, and after a lot of research this was my go to CPU. I had to wait a year for prices to go down, but when it finally hit my budget I snapped one up. CPU, integrated graphics and wraith cooling (which is proven to be very good) all in one box? It's a no brainer. It has no problem with office work and browsing on Chrome, and the integrated graphics will handle GTAV on moderate settings fine. Being my age though I just want to run C&C3 on ultra settings (and it's glorious!). The pre-applied thermal paste is terrible though. Remove it and apply your own. Seriously it's worse than toothpaste. Overall though thanks for another superb product AMD.

a good affordable cpu
I bought this for a building project with my son as he really needed an affordable upgrade Great cpu though I'm not using the integrated graphics on the chip and it works great One thing to note make sure your cpu and motherboard is compatible as I have had many people saying this does not work If its to upgrade your existing cpu and it is compatible but after installing the cpu the system refuses to boot your OS that likely means you will need to put the old cpu back in and flash the bios version to an updated version with added compatibility this information can be found from your motherboards manufacturer and there are many YouTube videos showing how to flash the bios safely
