I started homeschooling my 1st grader this year and this is the book we use for science. I love that there are questions and spaces to write the answers right in the book. We curl up on the couch together and take turns reading through each chapter. I plan to get the 2nd grade book for next year.

I like the worktext format. Be aware no CD or online access is included. Also the flip book is sold separately.
