Park Tool TS-2TA Thru Axle Adaptors

I was considering the more expensive tool from Park that has the threaded rod that goes through the hub, and before ordering I measured the hub that I was going to need truing most and it was at the widest for that tool. I thought it was potentially asking for issues because, being fair, things tend to get wider as new items come out (think Fat Albert bikes) and I didn't want to spend the 'big bucks' and end up having to replace it potentially down the line with these anyway. These lock (using the skewer type quick releases) to the forks of the stand and then you mount the wheel with the hub holes on these adapters tightening the forks. Simple. Just make sure that the adapters are solidly in the forks of the stand before you lock them in. I've already trued up several wheels using these adapters and am impressed with how simple, strong, and effective they are. Simplicity is elegant, and these are both, and WORK! PLUS: If you have seen the threaded rod Park tool, I think this is a much easier and quicker solution than having to futz with knobs and rods, and makes changeover from one type to the other a snap... RECOMMENDED Would be a excellent addition to anyone dealing with the 'old style' and new style wheels.

Works just fine for my 29er MTB, haven't tried them on my 27.5 but will obviously work. Intuitive and easy to use. I somehow also ordered the $50 Park Tools thru-axle thing and gotta say; I think I'll just leave these on unless I need a "SUUUUUPER DIALED" truining. lol. I like these.

Simple device that fits perfectly in my Park TS-2 truing stand. Also, perfectly accepts through axle hubs, both front & rear.

The instructions are pretty much nonexistent but these work just as advertised and get the job done, pretty much like all Park tools. A great addition to Park's already fantastic truing stand and an accessory that is mandatory for mounting through axle hubs in the stand.

These work by creating a convex surface on each side of the truing stand that the acle ends center themselves over. It works but feels kind hokey. I kinda wish I had got the Feedback one that fits inside the acle using a quill stem-like fitting and makes an artificial axle that fits in the verticals of the truing stand. If I had the money to go throwing around at fancy tools I’d get the Park Thru Axle adapter that is a full axle.

This is awesome! Just put the wheel in the stand and close it up that's it! no more fumbling around on putting an axle into the wheel... Awesome!!!

I have written reviews of these adapters on Universal Cycles, these things are terrible. I used them for truing mountain bike wheels with through axles since you cant usually put the through axle in the truing stand, so you get adapters like these to hold the hub in the stand. Pitiful design, doesnt stay in alignment! when i took the wheel out to check dish, i noticed every time i put the wheel back in the standm it was crooked. every time. get the adapter that plug into the hub or the big one piece axle stand adapter Park TS-TA (discontinued) or anything else!

Mejor de lo esperado. Más rápido de instalar que el robusto ts-ta, más económico, y realmete preciso. Funciona muy bien.
