It is the transportation security administration, so will this razor be allowed thru tsa security checkpoints?

From the TSA website: Safety Razors: Because the razor blades are so easy to remove, safety razors are not permitted in your carry-on luggage with the blade. They’re fine to pack in your carry-on without the blade. The blades must be stored in your checked luggage. The same applies for straight razors. This is a safety razor and it uses an injector to load the blades, the blades are easily unloaded from the injector and from the razor itself. The work around is to not have a blade in the razor for carry on. If you only travel with carry on, when you arrive at destination pick up an injector locally. Personna or Schick both work with this razor.

do we like this over 'supply' razor brand?

Depends... Supply has three removable guards that set the gap for comfort, the Parker gap is adjusted via a dial and has a larger range. The version one is an aggressive razor, the version two is milder. (Version 2 has the Parker logo etched on handle.) Honestly both are great razors. Each has its con's and pro's

Is this version 3 or version 2 that is being sold now?

This is Version 3 now. I think the razor's are very similar. However, Parker did work on the adjustment in the version 3. it will give you a milder shave on the lower setting and a slightly more aggressive shave on the higher setting. There both decent razors. But I think they stopped making version 2 and now only have version 3.

Does this razer also have a blade guard like the Schick Adjustable?

Yes it has a guard. The guard and the gap spacing where the razor blade is inserted is widened as you turn the adjustment dial on the back.
