I faked my way into being an accountant thanks to this book.

The best way to describe the book is to learn the main point of financial accounting in about 5 hours. There are multiple ways to read or listen to the book. I selected both to read as well as get the audio book to listen to while I was busy doing other things.

If you can brave wading through the exorbitant amount of chapter references and assumptions of being a student there are some decent pieces of information to be found here. As far as this being for dummies, you know how in movies or books the main characters bully will call them a dummy? That is the same context here. The writing is bored and feels as though it is beneath the writer. Maybe that is a result of being an accountant. This book has seriously made me reconsider purchasing any more books in the dummy series and just buy regular books in order to avoid all of the bloat. I would not recommend this book.
