Have these been tested for heavy metals like lead, etc?

I really don't know, but I sure like them. Not real heavy. I got them for my husband, he is blind,and they work out pretty good. Hope this helps you.

This is made of steel, of course you can use it in the oven, just not in the microwave oven.
