Can the Wood Handle be removed? Thank you kathy

It’s been so long ago since I purchased and gave as a gift with live plants. Nevertheless it was constructed well and think if you used some type of tool you could remove handle, otherwise,from my memory the handle isn’t made to be removed easily.

How many bottles fit into the bucket?

I used mine for decor on back of toilet. I put 2 wash cloths rolled up standing on end and a square tissue box in it. If you are talking about wine ? bottles I would say 3 would fit nicely. measurements are listed on website
