Really not worth it, notifications only worked half the time and thats when the App wasn't freezing. Better off buying something philips hue and setting up routines with IFTTT

The NOTTI LED Smart Mood Light is a nice gadget for the tech-y person in your life. I purchased this product after I saw it on a website for "10 things all college freshmen need" SO i am a total consumer. This light hooks up to your phone and flashes when you get a notification, or you can use it as a light from a rainbow wheel. I love the soft, mellow vibes it gives off in my room. 10/10 would recommend!

This product is only bluetooth Parable using an updated phone on an app that you are forced to use with either iOS or Android. There is absolutely no way that you can Bluetooth pair this device and have it operate simply as a notification alert system without using the app to 1st connect and configure it. Items such as this are highly purchased by middle-aged people and younger people as a gift to their elderly family members and Friends that use a phone but are distracted or have an inability to hear well and require an extra method of notification when a phone rings. That's the basics of this particular item. I'm simply shocked that Bluetooth which is built into phones that the senior citizens and the elderly use are largely flip phones non iOS or Android devices in fact the entire Market of those types of phones are not iOS or Android and yet this product doesn't have a method to Simply pair to a Bluetooth device directly without using the actual app that you are forced to use to connect and control it. Major oversight. Could have simply created a switch for standard Bluetooth pairing and app Bluetooth pairing. Perhaps your version 2 my do the job. I also have a problem with the power supply cord that you provided. It is extremely short I mean very short. The charging cable is short but also the USB and that you plug in to the outlet is fat and is inconvenient and doesn't fit on surge protectors with existing devices. Such a small device that require such little power it doesn't require such a massive plug. Once you're in the app there's absolutely no tutorial granted it's not that it's difficult to understand but at the same time it is difficult. You get into the settings you play around with the colors for a couple of minutes and then you start asking yourself questions will like how can I control and configure alerts which is on a completely different page and there is also no explanation to what you're getting as far as notifications and then you try for the next 30 minutes to sit there trying to figure out how do you make it blink when an actual telephone alert comes in such as an email or a phone call and after spending a little bit of time with the app you finally get it. This simplistic device does not need to be that difficult to manipulate and control mind you it is a product of that is sort of important so I would assume that mechanical longevity and electronics were planned for but as far as the app design I can't speak for either as far as I'm concerned the amount of work that you guys put into the app and at the same time neglected to offer a simple pairing mode with an automated simple alert process once connected makes me think that the product itself is also mechanically challenged for a long-term future. My review of this product stays at a 1 star. It's also funny how the pictures online make you look amazing when in reality you can't even get it to look that color. Go ahead sit there and try it. You will absolutely never get it to be that goldish color that is on the picture. The pictures that they provide you are far better looking than the actual product. The product is so small you will laugh when you open it if not Giggle. And then when you start messing around with the light you'll notice something quite interesting and odd colors that operate on the device go from two sides of red and back to itself but you actually never get red you can get most of the spectrum but you catch Lee can't get solid colors so you'll never get gold you'll get off yellow you'll never get red you'll get pink or you'll get Rose. Products inferior plain and simple fancy schmancy pictures with high saturation make you think this is an awesome product when in reality you're buying not only a lemon most likely but a lie.

This is a neat little light. It definitely changes many great colors and is awesome for mood lighting. I can't get the app notifications to work properly on my phone. I'm using an LG G3 with Android 6.0 and the email apps I can not get to notify me. I have 2 gmail accounts and one charter account. I use the gmail app for the gmail accounts and the regular mail app for my charter and none of them will work. I get notifications of incoming calls and text messages, however, I read that once you read the message the light is supposed to go off but it does not. I have to push the button on the front to clear the notifications. The alarm function is neat but you can not use your own music its just the one sound in the app and the app needs to stay running in the background in order to work. It's nice to have the light come on to slowly wake you up. The music feature is neat, however, it will not hold a play list or any songs at all. I have about 1200 songs on my phone and each time I have to go into the app and select the songs I want to play and there is no shuffle or repeat. If there could be some major improvements to the app this would be much better. I do enjoy it for the lighting.
