I don't know about bpa, but does have feet, in the form of a raised circular area on the bottom.

Great bowls, and colander but just small

I guess when I first went to order this item I thought it was bigger. I was surprised that it was smaller than I had planned. It still worked out but only for smaller items. I bought this to use in my new camper but now I just keep it home and use it for fruit and small items. They are sturdy and worth it but only for smaller items.
