Because this chair simply rocks! However, don't believe the athletes you see using the chair in the advertising; people with bulging muscles and girdle tight bodies. You're not gonna get that kind of results on this chair alone, but what you will get is a convenient and comfortable exercise system that'll definitely get and keep you remarkably stronger. And if you're eating properly, you'll loose weight. It comes with a collection of different workouts that's all 20 minutes each, except for one that's 40 minutes and includes some low impact aerobics. All of the workouts are awesome, and I'm madly in love with this chair and use it everyday except Sunday. In my opinion, there's not a better way to help you to commit to regular exercise for the rest of your life than this chair. Though there's a tradeoff in the deal. And a really bad one to boot. Namely, it's the Chair Gym company itself. You're not gonna like doing business with them. They have a really great product but incredibly shoddy management marketing and selling it for them. First off, their website doesn't fulfill orders, you hit the click button to pay now and nothing happens, which makes it appear to be a bogus setup out to get your credit card information, which isn't the case. You can't order thru their website because they don't have the product on hand and don't tell you that. So you have to figure out for yourself to call them and get hung up on a few times before getting thru to a live operator, and even then you have to ask them if they have the product, which is only when they'll tell you it's on back order. And I've found complaints from people who said they been waiting for several months so far, and still, no chair. But luckily for me, I got one from Amazon, that i received in two days on Prime Time, which came directly from the company. So if you call them, they don't have it, but you can get it from them thru Amazon? Does that make any sense? Okay, so since I got mine from Amazon, it didn't come with the collection of DVD's. It came with only a setup and introductory video, which is a 10 minute workout joke, and with a workout chart that you're not gonna follow. So doing the 10 minute joke introductory workout, I realized that it's a great system and just needed some workouts for the chair, so I decided to buy some workouts from the Resistance Chair System, which is the same as Chair Gym but much more expensive. And just as I about to make the plunge and buy some of the other chair workouts, I went to my mailbox and bam! All of the Chair Gym workouts was sent to me by mail by surprise. But then they sent two sets. So I was saved by the bell from spending more money on Resistance Chair workouts to use with my Chair Gym. So these people advertise a deal on TV and invite you to their website, but it's on backorder, but if you get it from another merchant, it doesn't come with any workouts and they send them to you by surprise. And then to put the cherry on the cake, the workout videos invite you again to their website to buy more stuff for your chair, that's also a no show. You can't order anything at all, not even the chair itself from their website, so what are they inviting us to come and do what we can't for? Still not confused enough? Well don't bother. I've read some people's complaints about the company sending them multiple chairs. LOL! But all in all, my experience wasn't all that bad because I got mine thru Amazon. But you can't get anymore thru Amazon now. Or at least you couldn't the last time I checked. So I recommend this chair as a must have, and it's unfortunate that the company is on crack, so try to get it from another merchant. Try Walmart or Fingerhut or something. If you can get it from somebody else, you won't go thru any hassles with the company, but just wait a few days and then check your mailbox for the DVD's that's supposed to come with it to begin with. But I might call the company to order the chair's advanced bands. The bands that comes with it works great, but once somebody gets real stronger, especially a man, they'll need some stronger resistance, and Chair Gym has more advanced bands, but you'll have to deal with the company to get them, and they'll likely send you multiple sets of it. But I still say this is a magnificent chair. A must have to help get and keep you in shape.

This is a wonderful, easy to store, light weight, and compact means of exercise. It can be used in a T-shaped space; no wider than the span of your arms and no longer than the length of your legs. I purchased the Chair Gym, because I had gone through physical therapy for a frozen left shoulder. A year later my right shoulder started to freeze in place; I no longer had the option of physical therapy. The Chair Gym has removed all signs of frozen shoulder for me, has helped me gain strength throughout my extremities and has improved my range of motion. I also purchased the optional Chair Gym twister seat. I am past fifty years old and have always been easily bored by exercise. I have found; alternating and performing almost all the exercises, with only four repetitions, is my key to not becoming bored and stopping. It would have been helpful if the exercise book had been produced in a smaller size, with one exercise per page. Bound in a perforated form, so I could remove only the exercises I wanted. The pages could then be placed on a large ring; in the order I used them. Once I learn an exercise, all I need is a quick, flip view, of each exercise as it comes up in my personalized program. (Yes, I created my own flip book.) In order to alternate between upper and lower, arm exercises, it was necessary to purchase an additional set of resistance band handles; which included ankle straps as well. Thereby removing the need to change the band handles from upper to lower and back again, repeatedly. Once I complete the arm exercises, I then swap out the lower band handles for the ankle straps and complete all the leg exercises. Based on other reviews, I purchased my Chair Gym from the Seller “Emsom” and experienced no problems with delivery.

I happened to see the infomercial on this product. It is my practice to check Amazon for the reviews before I purchase anything. I also never purchase directly from infomercials. The reviews were encouraging so I ordered it along with the swivel seat from Amazon. It arrived today. Set up was quick and easy. Less than 10 minutes to assemble because it came with DVD instructions on putting it together so that made it easy. I did the workout on the workout DVD and it was great. The only difference I noticed between purchasing it from Amazon is the additional five workout DVDs are not included. Not a problem, because I probably wouldn't use them all anyway. I can do the exercises on the DVD I do have and that will suffice. I feel it is much safer to purchase products shown on infomercials from Amazon because you won't be charged for things you haven't ordered. If you are limited in what exercises you can do, this is a great idea because it makes it doable. One other great thing is, is doubles as an extra chair!!

The chair gym is great! I love that it doesn’t take up much space and better yet, that I can be seated while exercising. It’s super motivating to see senior citizens among the participants on the exercise videos. If they can do the exercise, then I can keep going! That’s not to say the exercises are easy. Even the lightest band can be a challenge when placed on the bottom chair attachment. The seat is pretty comfortable but I haven’t sat in it for more than an hour. Overall, I like it. It’s nice to have a video to follow for strength training that revolves around using a chair and includes everything I need. It’s cool that the twister seat was included. It’s not fully assembled but close and not difficult to finish assembling.
