We have 2 of these lamps. The first 1 was purchased for my teen sometime in 2020, the second lamp was for our small bonus (study) space 2/7/2021. I bought the 2nd one specifically because it was working so well for my teen at the desk in their room). Both of the lamps continue to work as described without any problems. They are sturdy, nothing has malfunctioned, shorted out, or fallen apart. The lamps we received are not top heavy and hold their grip well on the desk/shelf where they are situated, and the goose neck is not flimsy. I like the dim and high soft light, and dim and high day light options. I've used the lamp for video calls instead of a ring light, turned it onto some of my smaller houseplants in the winter, and the lamp is great for studying and reading by. I would recommend these and would purchase them all over again, even if they poop out right after I submit this review, lol. Oh, and the cord length is awesome, love the reach. I definitely recommend this item. I did not receive this item as a promotion, this is my own purchase and unbiased review.

This clip on light is absolutely perfect for my diamond art project's! It clamps onto any size desk or table, it's long neck bends any way I need it to, it has both options for yellow and white light, with a dimmer/brighter switch for multiple brightness levels, and at this price point it's a steal!!! I had my first one for 3 years, using it every day for up to 7 hours, before it gave out, I considered that to be adequate, so I bought the same one again and this long, thin, LED light is my favorite I've tried so far (I've tried several different lamps) it's really easy to use, the clamp on the edge of your work space takes up little to no room, the movable neck makes it easy to put the lamp exactly where you want it, and when on its brightest setting in the white light is very strong, which I need it to be, to see all the tiny symbols on the canvas, and all the teeny tiny little diamonds in their little trays!! It's very compact, and light, and very functional, and very good quality!! I'll buy it a third time, if I burn this one out too!! Lol at this price and all it's many great features who wouldn't!! Lol highly recommend!!

Good quality light designed for tasks that don’t require very bright light. I’m satisfied with the brightness but if you’re looking for an ultra bright clip on lamp, you might want to search for something with a higher lumens rating, which is a measure of how much light is being emitted from the bulbs. Higher lumens (and also wattage) means brighter. Lower means dimmer On this particular light, the lumens and therefore brightness is quite low. It’s more suited for reading and possibly to illuminate a computer/desk area with soft light The clip is extremely strong and sturdy and the gooseneck is easy to adjust. The light itself is very thin and unobtrusive. Were it not for the gooseneck, you barely notice it. Switches adjust for brightness and warm/white light Overall, very nice clip on light for the price

I bought this lamp January 18, 2018 and let me tell you, I love this lamp! I love the design of it, the brightness and the different angles that you can bend it. I also like that you can set it on dim and bright settings. However, after a year of daily use it has become defective. Defective in the way that if the cord is moved, the light flickers or sometimes does not turn on at all. It only does this when the lamp is on the warm light setting. The white light setting is working very well and does not flicker when the cord is moved. Like I said this only happens when the lamp is on the warm light setting. This is a real shame because I prefer the warm light. I tried to email the seller to try to get a replacement but amazon did not deliver my message because my email connection with the seller has expired. Hopefully the company reads my review to try to work something out! I really do enjoy this lamp and I would absolutely recommend this to everyone!

I bought this light to use on my needlepoint stand for better visibility. It is exactly what I needed. It is lightweight so it does not cause the frame to tip. The clamp is very strong and holds firmly without jiggling. The neck of the lamp stays where you put it and does not sag at all. Most importantly, the light is bright enough to see every detail so that I can tell the difference between colors easily. It does have additional levels of brightness that could be useful for other purposes. The only thing is that the switch buttons are quite confusing at first. I figured them out: the button with three marks is the two modes and the off. The button with two marks is how you change the brightness level in each of the two color-tone modes. The center O in the three-mark button is Off, so to get any light you need to switch that button to either side of the center. Then use the other button to switch between high and low. Very confusing and not at all intuitive, but once you figure it out, you have a great lamp with lots of versatility.

I didn't want to spend $100 on a piano light, especially since most look too big and obtrusive for my small digital instrument. Why are they so expensive anyway? This clip light is solidly made and fits the bill nicely. It clips onto the piano's built-in music stand and looks like an integral part of the whole setup. While the different brightness and color settings are nice options, I find I only use the brighter warm color setting, but I appreciate knowing that I have the other options should this clip light ever get repurposed in some other setup.

I ordered a clip-on desk light from Amazon and it’s better than I hoped! My windowseat art nook gets beautiful bright sunlight most of the day, but especially at night (when I have time to paint) or rainy days, the overhead lighting is dim and distinctly yellow. This has yellow or white light, and two brightness settings for each. It doesn’t take up much space, plugs into an outlet or USB, and the clip is strong and large enough to hold onto whatever you might need it to (here I have it clipped to the lid of the ottoman that my easel sits on top of). The arm is really flexible but stays in place (so far) once you get it the way you want it. I’m really happy with this purchase- it’s already allowed me to achieve a more realistic skin tone in my current painting.

I'm very disappointed in these lights. They were perfect for what I needed, since I have an awkward space behind me where a traditional lamp just didn't work to help me with my cross-stitching at night -- the clip was strong, the gooseneck felt firm/held the shape/angle I wanted it in very well, but the LEDs died within a month. They flickered a bit for a day, and then went dim, and won't go back to a proper brightness whether or not I flick the brightness selection switch. The picture I attached shows the two of them. The dim one barely lights anything. It's worse than a candle, and flickers more... What I got was a 2-pack, and the other light is still going strong, no problems, so my 3-star review is for the quality of manufacture. If you are lucky and yours doesn't break, it's a good product.

Great Christmas present

I wanted to wait to review this item. And I've had it as while now. I have to say it's great. The light has a few settings. And when you adjust it to where it's needed it stays there! The clip to attachment is a great size and fits a good thick table. This is the 3rd time I have had to order this style of light as all the other ones move or droop and I ended up spending more time adjustinf the light then embroidering. This is the only one that stays where it's needed!
