Eddie Bauer - Sherpa Reverse Throw Blanket for Bed or Couch, 50 x 70

Why do almost all throw blankets leave either your feet or upper body exposed when all you want to do is relax, head to the couch, and get a cozy blanket to keep you warm? It's because they're all too small and too thin. Allow me to introduce you to Eddie Bauer's perfect throw blanket. At 70 inches long, it will cover all but the tallest people, and it's wide enough that it won't leave your sides exposed. It's also just dense and weighty enough that it's very warm, even when our home is chilly on cold winter nights. Plus, the sherpa lining feels great against the skin. Now all of my other blankets are in the closet as backups, while this Eddie Bauer throw sits on the ottoman ready for use. I purchased it during the winter and immediately considered it the superior blanket for a family room. I intend to order another one or two for this coming winter.

I've realized I've become a bit of a blanket snob, so I have several of them. My husband purchased one of these and while I have plenty, I realized how warm this one was (thanks to him letting me try it out), and I realized I had to have one for myself! It's going to be in the 30s tonight, so this will replace the one I use in the den for the time being - and I can't wait. It's so warm and soft. Not as long as some of the other ones I have, but it covers me up with some room to spare. Plus, it's adorable. I'm happy I purchased this as it's the warmest blanket I own. Would make a great gift.

Love this blanket. Perfect to throw over yourself on chilly nights. Can get a bit warm after a bit so I use this as a extra blanket on my bed. Super soft and cozy. Washed it before using, held up well. Hopefully it stays that way after some time and additional washes. Cute for a gift as well.

I like to keep a blanket on the couch in the wintertime, and the cats like to have someting soft to lay on. This hits both purposes. It's also incredibly warm. The last few nights have been a lot colder than normal, so I threw this on the bed just as an extra layer. Holy cow, it literally took less than a minute and I was warmed up. I actually woke up a little warm. Didn't care, I was REALLY comfortable. You can't possibly find something better for the price. It comes vacuum sealed, so I opened it, let it expand for a few minutes, then took it out and just threw it on the couch. It's now a waiting game to try and get the cats off it, they literally wont move. Update - So I wrote the above review over a year ago, and evidently never hit submit. (face palm) I was looking through previous orders to re order soemthing else, and saw this is in sale, PLUS I have some reward points from having the Amazon card, so I'm literally getting another one for practically nothing, and having another blanket never hurts. The geriatric cats are no longer with us, but now the dog has taken over laying on the one that I keep on the couch . It's on the ottoman which is the perfect size for the dog, and she won't get on the ottoman UNLESS the blanket is there. It's now her space. It's multi pet approved, human approved, you truly need this blanet if you dont' have it. Personally I really like the khaki, it matches pretty much everything. Just buy it.

Super nice thick blanket, beautiful colors , well made, was a gift for someone who is ill. They really seemed to like it. Price was great too

These are amazing. The extra 10" (70" as opposed to 60" for a regular throw) in length makes a wonderful difference. I have given these for gifts and they are always appreciated. They launder well.

The blanket is light, fluffy, and nicely patterned. However, it is the worst product experience I have ever had. I counted over 30 plastic T-shaped fasteners, not including the ones that flew across the room when I cut them. Every time I thought I had cut the last one, there was another. I was very careful in removing each one, but some were embedded in the inner layers of the blanket. Many were so short there was barely a safe way to cut them without embedding others further into the blanket. This resulted in some pulled threads, despite how gentle I was being. Lots of time was wasted cutting each one, then meticulously sifting through the entire blanket to find all the embedded ones. I am worried it will develop holes where the fasteners once were.

I loved this holiday throw sooo much and hated to return it (twice), but the two sides are not bonded as described so the fibres come out easily if they were slightly pulled making me question it’s longevity. I thought Eddie Bauer was better than this.👎
