A huge step forward in LED lighting
LED lighting has come a long way in the last few years. From pricey, ice cold, barely adequate light, they've become my lighting of choice throughout the house. Light temperatures have improved so that a range of lighting is easily available, they've become brighter and more reliable, and best of all the prices have dropped. With the Poeland Vintage candelabra bulbs, LED lighting is entering the vintage decorative market, and I have to say this is a good entry. The bulbs look quite genuine, and they give off a lot of light. The light itself is a bit cooler than the average incandescent filament bulb, but not so much that it's a problem. I've posted a photo below, and while it's difficult to capture the look of the bulb when lit, you can at least compare the color of the light to a vintage-style incandescent bulb. (The Poeland is on the left. A vintage-style incandescent on the right.) You may think that the price is a little high by comparison to incandescent bulbs, but given the potential life span and the savings on electricity, the overall cost of these is quite acceptable, and in fact they'll save you money while allowing you the same vintage look you want. If this kind of lighting is your thing, I really recommend you try them. I am genuinely in awe of how much the LED light bulb has changed since I bought my first ones. Disclaimer: I was given this product so that I could write an honest review.

Fits Tovala!
The factory bulb blew on the second use of my new Tovala oven; and for some reason they don't care to tell you what kind of bulb you need. I got tired of waiting on them to warranty it, so I took the burned-out bulb down to my local HD store only to find that nobody local carries this size. It's an uncommon European size, and you're unlikely to find it anywhere local (in the U.S.). After some internet searching, it appeared the bulb needed was an E14 base. So, I took a chance and ordered this two pack. Luckily, I was correct on the size, and this bulb fits PERFECT! It's nearly identical to the factory bulb in size and brightness. The only real difference is that it burns a fraction of the energy and is a little "whiter" in color. The old bulb was more of a yellow "soft white" and burned 15 watts vs. the 1.5 this one consumes. FYI: The bulb does indeed have a glass shell, not plastic like some LED lights. This was important to me since it is going in a toaster oven and needed to be able to withstand heat.

Exactly What Was Needed for Ambiance!
The bulbs that came with my new retro style lamp were too big (globe type), and too bright for the E14 fittings. These little bulbs suitable for appliances are PERFECT beginning with the frosted bulbs, warm white light and suitable low wattage of 1.5W. I use these in a lamp I keep on during daylight hours for mood and ambiance lighting. RECOMMEND

Works but light is very warm/ yellow
I bought a couple small lamps in Paris knowing I would have to figure out how to make them work, but with no plan on how. I was happy to find a bulb with US voltage and a European base, and this was really the only option I could find. They work and aren't horrible, but the light is very yellow. I'm going to see if an E12 with a socket converter will fit because it does look so different from the other "warm white" lights in my house. It could be fine for mood lighting, and still giving them 4 stars because there really isn't another product out there like this.

Perfect replacement for expensive, Perlick fridge interior light
After a few years, the interior light in our Perlick under-the-counter fridge failed. It's incandescent, and therefore unreliable. It uses an A14 socket, standard globally but not (duh!) in the US. You can order a replacement for around $12 plus $5 shipping. Or Perlick brand on Amazon Prime for $18. So, for years, I peered into a dark fridge. Until I found that you can get this LED equivalent, $9.99 for two and Amazon Prime delivery. It fits, it works, and now I can see what's in the fridge!

Perfect replacement for an old Blaupunkt console
Perfect replacement for an old Blaupunkt console from the 50's with a bar cabinet on one side. Lights it up just as good if not better than the original that finally blew out. It's a bit shorter but light dispersal is still good.
