This item is much better than the previous other models that I have purchased. I know it's sleek, smooth design, feel good to the touch. However, a very old cover I had for an iPod touch 2, was covered with tiny bumps, which made it less slippery in your hands. If this model had those bumps, I would give it 5 stars instead of 4.

I was very impressed with the quality and how quickly it was here. Will definitely be ordering more for Christmas gifts.

A case like this has to protect your device while allowing full access to its controls and ports or it's of no value. I've had this case for a week now, and it seems like it would do a good job of protecting the device, but it's designed so that you can't depress the power switch and none of the six or seven headphone jacks I have can fit through the barrel hole and make positive contact with the receptacle in the device. I even bought a new cable that appeared to have an extra thin barrel, but no luck. I know most people use BlueTooth connectivity, but I mainly use my iPod by plugging it into an old-school amp using a headphone jack to RCA connectors adapter, and if the case prevents me from doing this, it's not useful.

Solid case. With built in screen protector. Openings for cable is a decent size even for non apple cables. Easy to install by following contained instructions.

Only problem I have is the screen protector has 2 holes, one for the FaceTime camera and the other for the home button, not exactly great for keeping out dust and dirt
