This is the best lotion for dogs that I have found and trust me, I have tried a few. The consistency is perfect. Not too thick and not too thin. It soaks into the skin well. My dog has very dry skin and it causes her to scratch and bite herself. She has even lost patches of hair because of it. I should mention that she is a short haired dog. So getting the lotion to her skin is very easy. Anyway, I use this lotion on her every night and it curbs her itching. Her hair is even growing back. If I miss one night I can tell how uncomfortable she is. It also smells nice and the bottle is quite large. I wasn’t expecting the amount of product I actually received. It has lasted me a few months. I feel like the price is fair for how much lotion you get. I am currently on my second bottle and I don’t see myself using anything else from here on out. It checks all the boxes for me. Hope that helps.

My black and white pitbull mix has environmental allergies that are causing serious itchiness. She has been waking me up from scratching all night long. She is even balding in the spots where she is constantly itching. Her poor neck has been super raw from all the scratching. She also had a spot on her belly that the vet had me treating with a steroid/antibiotic spray (that wasn't helping). The spot was constantly red. I started putting coconut oil on the raw spots and adding it to her food to see if that would help. The coconut oil has been successful in reducing the itching and scratching. I decided to try this shampoo and lotion just to see if it would reduce the redness and get rid of any bacteria/fungus that would be causing the redness and prevent any infection from occurring due to her constantly scratching the areas open and raw. I've used the shampoo and lotion two days in a row now. Her fur is super silky and shiny. She is SOOOOO SOFT. She doesn't appear to be itching as much. I haven't even put coconut oil on her the last two days. I wanted to see how the shampoo worked without the coconut oil. I am so pleased with the product. I just wish it was a little bit cheaper. You don't get very much lotion for the cost. She seems to be feeling better and scratching less. I will update the post after a couple more days/weeks of use. UPDATE: I HAVE NOW BEEN USING THIS ON MY PITBULL FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS. HER SKIN APPEARS TO BE CLEARING UP AND IS MUCH SOFTER. SHE RARELY SCRATCHES NOW! I AM NOW FOSTERING A PITBULL THAT HAS EXTREME SKIN PROBLEMS. HE HAS SOME SERIOUS ISSUES WITH THE SKIN ON THE FLAPS OF HIS EARS DUE TO AN OUT OF CONTROL EAR INFECTION (HIS PREVIOUS FOSTERS DID NOT TAKE CARE OF HIM). IT IS HELPING WITH THE SWELLING, IRRITATION, AND REDNESS ON THE FLAPS OF HIS EARS! YAY

Helps reduce itching when applied. I usually apply it a few times a day to give my dog some relief. It is antibacterial and antifungal. It is helping heal up a bad sore spot on his paw from chewing. It does take a long time to see real improvement as far as that goes. We've been using it for about 2 months. I used it with the shampoo at first and then cut back on bathing when his skin started getting dry and flaky. It smells clean. I love that it is made with natural ingredients. It is worth the money! Be patient! We've tried apoquel, cytopoint injections, prescription diets, steroids, etc. It's all just temporary relief for him. I'm so glad I discovered this Lotion to help soothe it some for him.

Only lotion and shampoo I can use on my dog that help and doesn’t irritate his sensitive skin. Helps so much with rashes and pimple like breakouts. I can immediately see relief on his face when I use the lotion. Hands down, best product for my boxer/pitty mix. He is so sensitive and this product is PERFECT, such a blessing. Sometimes it helps more than appoquel

I have 6 dogs and all have allergies or skin issues. This product really helps with their issues in between their Jax and Daisy shampoo baths. We go through this product like crazy , I'm so happy they now have gallon sizes. We have a few friends that will come to us when they need a refill...I wish they would buy their own but that's a rant for a different forum lol . I recommend jax n daisy products to anyone who will listen.

Best product for my American Bully.

The shampoo makes my dog's coat super soft and shiny. Has helped lessen her itchiness but she's still got a bit of dandriff. As for the lotion, I haven't used it yet but it would probably solve the dandruff problem. I just think it's weird putting lotion on a furry creature but my husband uses lotion so I guess it's not THAT weird. Lol It's bothersome to have to use it so frequently (though not always necessary depending on your dog's level of itchiness) but the shampoo is great. I would buy it again and recommend it for sure. I will edit this review once I've tried the lotion on my dog a few times.
