Compact, convenient and easy to move around if needed

While traveling I stayed at a B&B, a home that was built in the 1850’s, so it did not have USB plugs. This was on the night stands next to the bed. Using the Amazon photo search feature, I found it and bought it. It is a small size, gives you that extra plugs and USB ports. Many items now use USB instead of traditional plugs, this is the perfect solution. I highly recommend.

I’m really happy with this purchase. I am in a city where is space is a premium, so anything that takes up less room is important. This little surge protector made a world of difference compared to my horizontal one. It takes up far less space and actually has more plugs because it has the four outlets +3 USB ports. It’s also nice that it comes in black because it blends in with its surroundings, and is far less of an eyesore. I highly recommend it. A quick note, I really thought that I needed a larger one with more plugs and bought a different one first, but ended up returning it. This is really perfect if you don’t have an enormous amount of electronics that all require different plugs in the exact same space. It allows for my TV, a light fixture, a smart speaker, an extra outlet for other things, plus three usb ports for my iPhone, iPad, and fitness tracker (although I almost never charge all of them at the exact same time). The only drawback is that iPads really do charge faster when you use the plug instead of the USB port, because it has the specialized power adapter. Regardless, this really has more than you would initially think.

Little top heavy, but works as it should

I bought this compact power strip mainly for travel and occasional desk use. While I don’t use it often, it’s been handy to have around when I need extra outlets and USB ports in a small space. The flat plug and cube design make it easy to pack, and the 5ft cord offers some flexibility. It also has built-in surge and overload protection, which adds peace of mind. Pros • Compact and travel-friendly • Includes both outlets and USB ports • Flat plug fits behind furniture • Surge and overload protection Cons • Not ideal for permanent setups • Cord could be longer for some setups Best For Light use during travel, small desk setups, or as a backup charging station.

I like how this charging station (in my opinion) works great. I like how the switch turns of all of the outlets and the usb. It help save power because the blue light when it is on is bright and you remember to turn it off. The two things I wish that was different is if it had usb on every side of the square like the outlets. I also wish that the usb had different walts (fast charging) and usb C plugs along with the usb A. Overall really happy with it.

Thanks to TXU our energy provider our rate more than doubled this year and my husband and I went through our home to find all of those appliances that were sucking energy when not in use. We ended up purchasing 3 of these little “power towers” to plug those energy leaches into. It’s so easy to push the button on top when you want to use the appliance that you need without having to plug or unplug everything. We were very surprised how much our energy bill went down in just a few days. We went from $63 per week down to $20 per week!!! The biggest surprise was how much our Mr. Coffee coffeemaker used when not in use as well as our coffee bean grinder and microwave. Our washing machine was another energy hog when not in use, but the little tower was convenient to use, so now I’m unplugging it when not in use. If you’re in the same boat and want an alternative to shut off the power of your appliances I’d highly recommend these little power towers!!!

Cord is long enough to reach the plug, 5 feet away. Unit has a small footprint and doesn't take up too much space on my desk. Its super convenient being able to plug things in without having to crawl on the floor.
