I package up a lot of boxes every month, but it took me a long time to find something that would make my life easier. When I looked at the different models, they all looked so heavy and clunky. I wanted something that would make packing up boxes easier - not harder. I settled on this product because its price was about right for my budget, and it had good reviews. After using it for only a few boxes, I was already won over. This product is great. It is not at all heavy or clunky to use - I can grip the handle quite comfortably and get my boxes taped up in about 1/4 of the time it used to take me. I was very surprised by how light it is - considering its size (it does look a little bulky) this is not at all as heavy as I feared it might be. It isn't so good for smaller boxes, because the overall size of this product makes it difficult to use when the box is a small size. But most of the boxes I pack are at least 10x10x10, and this product is just perfect for them. It is easy to load a new roll of tape when needed and the device holds the tape very securely and rolls the tape smoothly onto a box when you want to secure it. I never feel like the tape roll will come loose when I am using this product. The blade is very sharp - but I haven't cut myself on it once, nor do I worry about doing so. The only downside is that sometimes the edge of the tape can get a bit tangled up and can't be used. Overall: Great product. Definitely a good buy.

There really is a difference. I'd rather have one of these than 10 of those crappy ones (like the ones that come with "Duck Tape" brand tapes. These may look similar in photos, but there are some details that make it better, and worth the price (relative I guess.) My number one favorite thing about this model is the little metal bar than holds the tape to the roller. On most cheapy tape guns, that bar is placed flat side against the tape....and what happens? The tape sticks to it, making it difficult to get the tape started. All of them have this crappy feature for some reason. All of them except the real deal...this 3M tape gun. This H180 uses a similar piece of metal to hold the tape with one important distinction....it's placed on edge. This gives the tape very little to grab on and makes dispensing tape much easier. My second favorite thing about this tape gun is the razor-wire-like tape cutter. It's like this tape gun is saying "screw you world...you sue-happy bunch of ninnys! I'm going to be the most dangerous thing you encounter today!" In a world full of plastic wrap with cutters not worth a shiz, helmet-wearing kids walking to school, and warning labels on plastic bags, it's refreshing to see a really aggressive and SHARP cutter. It's so sharp they had to put a warning label above it (hey, it's still America.) Anyway...this thing is built like a truck (deuce and a half.) I wish I had bought one 10 years ago. I thought of getting the low-noise version (H150) but was concerned over the way it holds the roll of tape (looks funky.) And, I'm single with no sleeping kids so screw it...shriek all you want, tape. This one is tried and true anyway.

These are simply the best. I have two, one for almost 10 years. They never misfeed, and they always cut. They are totally worth the cost. Save your sanity and don't get a cheap dispenser.

We bought this during a big move from Florida to Tennessee. I have 3 kids (2 teenagers and one toddler) and everyone was working on taping boxes. My old cheap tape dispenser broke and we had 2 of the cheap red 3M plastics that sometimes come with the box tape, but we wanted something better so since my husband's company was paying for the move, we bought this and the Duct Tape Shark Pro Tape Dispenser. Wow were these things great. We loved both and could never go back to the old cheap dispensers but there was one thing about this one that I have to warn people about and made me take off a star. The teeth stick out far on it and both of my teenagers as well as myself cut themselves on them and two of them were pretty bad cuts. When the teenagers did it I thought that perhaps they were just careless or something, but when I did it, I wasn't even cutting at the time. The dispenser was on the floor and I went to pick it up and my hand brushed the teeth and it sliced me open. Man it works great when you are taping, but you have to be careful. With a toddler, I was a little nervous after 3 cuts. Be careful and alert and you should be okay! If you don't want to take a chance get the Duct Tape Shark Pro....just as good without teeth that stick out!

habia comprado y probado muchos dispensadores y la mayoria de las veces era mas facil, hacerlo manual ya que no se cortaba bien la cita, el dispensador dañada la caja o la cinta se enrollaba etc... Este por el contrario ha sido perfecto en todos los aspectos.

Dont know if I am using this incorrectly but, I cant seem to get it to work?! So I wouldnt recommend it!!

I wasn’t completely sure if it came with tape or not – turns out it’s just the dispenser, so you’ll need to get the rolls separately. First time using one of these, so nothing to compare it to, but I found it a bit awkward. The end of the tape doesn’t stay in place, which makes it a bit of a faff. Gets the job done, though.

It is made out of good materials ,and it is very well made.

A pesar de tener un precio elevado para ser un despachador de cintas, quedo muy satisfecho con la calidad del mismo. La navaja tiene un filo muy bueno y no presenta ningún problema para cortar la cinta y su uso es muy fácil. Sin duda te evita el estar batallando con despachadores desechables. Con 5 meses de uso sigo muy satisfecho con la compra. El despachador que me llegó es como el de las primeras imágenes (gris). No incluye cinta. Saludos!
